Wow, Idra played so well in that last game. O_o Very impressive.

Wow no matter how many people hate Idra, you can't diss his gameplay. He just straight up outmacroed (and outplayed in the case of game 3) Nony completely... Those games weren't even close.
I'm never wrong. I once thought I was wrong, but turns out I was mistaken.

I think when they said stay tuned, they were talking about tuning into this thread for future updates on the tournament.

No...It was live.

Eh, at the start, starcraft "clock and date" showed something about Friday and so on, so i dont really think it was live.

It was live, rofl. And yes it's 'possible' to cheat, but would you put your reputation on the line for it? Definitely not, there are people spectating and it's spotted easily dude.

No, it's been explained a million times it was pre-recorded.

I've been a fan of Idra's playstyle for a while now but this was just something else. I was just really impressed with everything I saw from him today.
This should be the end of the "Idra's crying over roach nerf" posts.

I love how people are hating on him for using "all hydralisks". What the heck? Did they watch the same games I watched?

Game 1 was an easy speedling run-by after Idra actually held off a quick push (for once)!

Game 2 Idra held off Nony's phoenix-ground 1-2 punch incredibly well, and then the hydralisk overrun FTW! He HAD to make hydralisks to counter the phoenixes.

Game 3 was speedlings and doomdrops and mutalisks and so much stuff!

None of the games were even close, and his play was certainly not a stale massing of hydralisks!

Game 3 also made me more optimistic about SC2's prospects as an e-sport. If things like drops and other harass can be that effective, suddenly multitasking becomes that much more important again. Maybe SC2 has a much higher skill ceiling than we believe right now.
On a purely personal note, I'd like to show Yellow the beauty of infinitely repeating Starcraft 2 bunkers. -Boxer

Third or fourth low post person to say this. It was not live. The games were played Friday. Just because you don't see a replay bar doesn't mean it is live.

Agree.

Awesome play from Idra.
