Just curious, why put day9 and tasteless against each other round 1? Don't they get to play each other as much as they want already? I guess it's a pretty hype match though so I'm sure a lot of people want it to happen if that's what you guys were going for. Haha, but i still kinda feel bad for them that for such a big tourney they have to play each other first. Oh well, Thanks HD and Husky can't wait for this tourney.

LZ did kind of get a crazy draw. He gets Ret first round and Idra has to be favored to win his first round. So that is potentionally two foreigners who made it to Korea. Then his third match could end up being against his teammate and 2v2 partner, InControl.

Hell, it's kind of crazy that Idra and Ret could end up playing each other in just the second round. Hell and those two could end up playing Nony right after that. So those three all get stuck in the same half to slug out just to get the finals.

Plott v Plott in first round.

I'm surprised they didn't find a way to put Artosis v Idra as a first round matchup.

I'm trying to see how some of the interesting matchups will make it to the finals, but it seems most of the good 'storylines' will be in the first two rounds with not much chance of a truly dramatic final.

At the very least a mirror match in the finals seems extremely unlikely. Top half has four protoss and three zerg, and the bottom half has all three randoms and three terrans. So each half is heavily weighed down with race splits.

I want to see how this plays out because as of now I don't know what would be better random seeding or whatever seeding process this was, or was this truly random and the Starcraft gods chuckle good at how it played out.

With the tough field, I don't think it's very likely that you'd get Plott vs Plott unless it was in the first round.
