Really hurts to hear HD/Husky say over and over about better unit composition when it means massing damn sentries and immortals to lock zealots away and demolish stalkers and colossi by default.

And it also takes away from some 'awe' some people like to watch these games in... You should get excited about how thelittleone is everywhere on the map and able to constantly keep up the harassment with just 6 stalkers barely losing any to constantly pick off pylons/units, making people pumped at watching a good player, not "Why isnt this player doing this, wtf?" Implying that he's making horrible mistakes, when infact you are, as a caster... Yea, I agree with this. I think the casters are being too judgmental on the players sometimes, but I don't think it's on purpose, since they're just trying to add their view. Obviously we can't expect masterful SC2 insight on par with when Day[9]'s knowledge of the game when he's casting, because Husky and HD are not pro-level players.

He just had the bad luck to play against the best toss in SC2 Beta while being toss himself.... three times in a row! So I disagree with people suggesting that TLO should pick a race. Random gives you much more versatility. Better luck next time TLO, and again, huge props to WhiteRa.

This conclusion is incorrect since all 3 games (game 3, 4, and 5) are individual events. Hence, in each of those games WhiteRa had a 1 in 3 chance to be in a mirror match. TLO didn't lose to dice, he lost to WhiteRa. Good games. Both of them are great players. It was very entertaining to watch.

+ Show Spoiler + Why are some people commenting on how bad his luck is that he got Protoss 3 games in a row? If you recall, before TLO disconnected, he was Protoss for game 2. It is his choice to play random in this Tournament meaning he is 1/3 of every race. He went into this knowing he can't change his race half way through the tournament. For those saying that PvP is boring... I thought game 3 and 5 were very epic Protoss games in the HDH. Come on, archons and dark templars? Don't be such fanboys ![]()

However, the chance of getting Protoss 3 games in a row is 1 out of 27, and definitely qualifies as unlikely and very unfortunate. On that note.... WHEN IS THE NEXT ROUND GOING TO START!!!! T_T

Hope Nony vs Idra will be more entertaining. not sad at all... Very fun games. Stalker hallucination into blink is not uncommon as you might think it is viable strategy ... it is just not as standard as 4 gate into robo or as easy to execute. WhiteRa had two archons merged before his templar archives were unpowered . It was good choice considering that archons are ok vs mass zealot and TLO was massing zealots and archon tech was half opened when WhiteRa was going for dark templar since he saw weakness in TLOs build not having detection. Archons are not great general unit but are ok choice vs mass speed zealots, I think he felt that he cant have storm in time if TLO would push... speed zealots with good control and suround demolish sentries and immortals. You play then liek zerglings.

1% to get 5 times the same race 12% to get 4 times the same race 37% to get 2 times the same race and 50% to get 3 times the same race, which is unsurprisingly exactly what happened today. So yeah if you're playing random and it goes to game 5 most of the time ONE matchup out of the three will be key to the entire series, so if you're very good at one matchup (ZvP) but sucky at another (PvP) it's basically a coinflip. The coin actually came pretty close to a triple-zerg victory so was TLO really that unlucky? No idea about how he would've fared with T though.
