Well one thing that need to be understood is that 1k is not that much $ for either me, ket, pinball or mez (dunno about pacifist), cheating to actually win this little money would never ever cross our mind, winning a bet is always fun though, which is the whole point of us betting

Maybe seperate thread with the people who are pooling the money. and the date and when replays will be released to go straight to a caster like day9..i assume he would love to cast this.

Fayth put $1000 of his money in a bet. That doesn't give him free license to be a douchebag, especially after he has 5+ warnings/bans in two months for how he acts.
Idra's ban is a combination of how he's been acting over the past few months too, and the duration is less (2days+more after the grudge match is over) mainly because trash talk is to be expected between the actual participants of such a match.
If anyone believes these bans to be unfair, feel free to make a thread in website feedback. Fayth will have to deal with not being able to post. Just because he bet money on something doesn't mean he can act however he wants.

I didn't mean that he doesn't deserve a ban... and of course I don't know about his record. I just meant that this particular ban will hurt him more than usual because of his financial involvement in the grudge match.

Idra got banned because he's had a pattern of BM conduct over the past few weeks and we (as moderators) want to see him clean up a little, at least in terms of insulting other posters. His ban duration is also lengthy.

I'm pretty sure the top players on the U.S. and Asian servers are better than Smuft is right now, seeing as (from what I've read) he's hardly practicing anymore. Sure, Smuft could practice really hard for a week to try and beat IdrA, but who cares when there are other players grinding 12 hours a day making consistent builds. He should just ignore this and keep doing his thing.
IdrA has ambitions to be the best SCII progamer (I assume) so what's one random player to him during beta?
