This. Here's a reasonable analogy, if you watch football on TV they try very hard not to pick up the incredibly BM chatter that the players have, you can pick it up sometimes but the point is it's not supposed to be part of the sport... Let your play do the talking ( to the viewers especially ) and all that except this is beta and by no means are any of these players professionals, and even still like you said the players still do it in football or whatever (even though the comparison is stupid)
Ok maybe my comparison was bad but it's what I thought of. Whether they are professionals or not, if someone says they're a professional they should act like one IMO

We also have to start somewhere so better not get used to the BM.

Right after IdrA corrupts all the buildings too CJ has given him permission to move to SC2 and is their first full time SC2 pro, dunno if you require further things to be considered a pro but I'd consider him to be one.
According to NonY the stream will now be moved to Day's one where he'll be casting it, yeah!

Wait, what? I thought IdrA's team made an official statement that he is switching to SC2 only.. you mean because it's still beta?
|
speaking of switching to sc2, are all the teams going to convert their B-teams first, since they aren't currently in the spotlight for sc1?

because it's in beta and because there's no league. even if he is a professional in every sense of the word he should be able to bm all he wants unless there is a specific rule against it. not some "unwritten rule". you guys sound like KeSPA, jesus.

Hey relax no need to rage, we're just expressing our opinion same as you
You're right there's no league so you have a valid point. And I guess it is an unwritten rule type thing (Smuft even said the same thing, "I have to specify this?").
But even though you have valid points I think my point is valid too because despite not having official rules/league there is a ton of attention on SC2 at the moment and as icons in the eSports community they should try to follow some personal standard I think

A-teamers practice with B-teamers regularly right? So if all the B-teamers move to SC2, wouldn't there be a huge lack of practice partners?

There is absolutely no reason that being a professional means that he has to be mannered. Hockey players talk shit and fight all the time and the fans love it.
|
There is difference between shit talk and behaving like idra. I just can't imagine him with that kind of attitude IRL without being bitchslaped by someone immediately.

I thought this is a thread for Smuft's Battle Tourney, silly me.

It's so weird seeing Sean in his room while the sunlight is still out

It doesn't matter, he couldn't get out of his base.
