Did you watch the scrap station game really? He sneaks in zerglings into white-ras base, makes banelings and blows them up on white-ras probes. His main is contained by several cannons and gateways/robo.. he expands the creep so that his spine crawler gets in range of any pushed up units. He builds a spire to counter white-ras lack of anti-air units. He builds a nydus worm in white-ras base as white-ra is pushing in to finish his base. He pulls all of his units in the worm and kills off white-ras main, while having 300 minerals saved up for another hatchery at white-ras natural. He snipes the remaining stalkers with the few mutas he has left. Then kills the pylons to power out the gateways. How can you say that he didn't turn the game on its head? | ||

Granted, when people say things like this, what they are really saying is that >act< is cruel/mean. Then that is plastered as what the whole person is, which is wrong. Machine did virtually identical spine crawler defense against Idra's gateway wall into cannon contain in an MLG game He ran past proxy gates into an undefended main - this is a very common counter to cheese. Nydus worming an empty main when all Ra's units are outside his base is smart, but again how is it revolutionary? The fact that he is capable of pulling it off under pressure is admirable and praise worthy, but it doesnt redefine SC2 or anything like the praise he is getting "he builds a spire to counter Ra's lack of anti air" Truly boxer reborn, there is no one smart enough to think of this! | ||
