ExorArgus: I'm not sure I understand what you're calculating, exactly. Here's a probe health chart for different defense upgrades being attacked by a +0 mutalisk:
I don't see any easy advantages to persue there. +1 mutas might have a slightly easier time doing enough bounce damage to enable a 4-shot kill on 0/2/0 (6 bounce needed) than on 0/1/1 (5 bounce needed after shield armour), but neither configuration is going to make mutas over your probe line a thing you can solve with armour upgrades. | ||

+1 attack +2 attack +1 shields +3 attack +2 shields +1 armor +3 shields +2 armor +3 armor in a perfect scenario if i know mutas are coming. shield upgrades are great for blinkstalkermicro since you regain "armored health". also, they help archons. They furthermore make buildings stronger which can be helpful in basetrade scenarios but also - and thats the most important part - they make cannons thougher. but u cant always choose and u are unlikely to know mutas are coming, so thats just in theory. | ||
