nexus on 16 is quite a bit slower in getting the forge up and the second pylon, i don't know why because 2 extra probes shouldn't make much of a difference but it seems like they do -_- this is all theorycrafting just based of 2 test games and i'm pretty sure most games a player will not be going for a nexus first at 16-18 probes. although it could prove useful tbh | ||

i've read about this also.. once you have over ~24 workers mining your main.. if you were planning on building a nexus at ur natural but for some reason were forced not to.. you can distance mine with any probes you have built and your income will be higher than if you just stuck probes #25-30 onto your main mineral node. This will give you a slight income boost while your nexus is building again or building late. | ||
