I've seen several variants, including the Gate Cyber Council, or the 3 stalker opening into Blink Stalkers, with as much as a 30 second difference from the moment of engangement.
Obviously if you've seen several variants done by pros there isn't 1 standard/optimal 3 gate blink in PvP. Gate cyber council will lose to 4 gate, but will put you ahead against other builds that are safer and defend 4 gate, such as the 3 stalker opening.

Yeah just about every time. Floating minerals mid game? Make some sweet loving overlords. Make three roaches? Make an overlord. Inject? Make an overlord so you can cash those banging hot larva into defilers or infestors. Make some lings?
Well.. Meh, make an overlord as needed. ^_^
Edit: Also if you send in sacrificial scouting overlord make another one before it dies. That one happens to everyone >.> Also if you aren't ridiculously ahead on overlords and someones about to snipe one.. make another. You can always worst case scenario cancel the egg if the overlord lives.
(Yeah, I get supply blocked at the worst possible moments too. 10 minute marine tank push? Ha ha you're supply capped! GG Loser.)

It's whenever the protoss sends in his little armada to hit me when he's expanding.
7 sentries, 3 zealots and 4 stalkers.
Me? 4 lings because I'm supply blocked for a good 20 seconds.

As zerg, what should be my response to 1 base marine-thor all in? Should I make roaches or just rely on lings? The crazy thing about that push was I scouted the tech-lab & figured it was normal blue flame hellion play and droned up pretty hard, putting one spine in each base and getting roaches. I only saw the thor when it popped out and the guy instantly moved out. As it was closed positions it was like insta-gg.

What is the best way to emp properly? I always shoot one emp, but then my ghost die. How do i get them all to shoot simultaneously?

The real problem behind adelscott's 2 gate push is that it isn't even really safe vs 4 gate openers. People have learned to defend the 3/4 early zealots + 2 stalkers with minimal probe loss and are able to counter attack before cannons are up in the natural and warp gates are done.
The strength of Adel's PvP was that it was a weird BO that people weren't sure how to respond to (is it a an aggresive 2 gate, should I chrono units ? or is it just a slightly delayed cyber core and how safe am I ?).
If you don't do enough damage with your initial push, you can't hope to expand and you are forced into a 4 gate type of play which isn't an optimal way to play in PvP.

Why do koreans favor a large muta ball over a large infestor ball when playing ZvT?
Been looking at recent reps and i barely see any replays of mass ling/infestor vs terran, compared to the replays with mass muta balls.

Most zerg players dont split the infestors and keep them in one big infestor-ball. In that way one good EMP from a ghost can make all the infestors useless. isnt that so? (and yeah - this was a question and not an answer).

What is the proper response to zvz 7pool double spinecrawler all in? Do you pull drones to take out the spinecrawlers, or do you stall for time for your own pool to get up so you can make lings? Suppose you open 13pool, do you keep mining with your drones, or should you try to force an engagement? If you can, should you throw down spines of your own?
Used search function, didn't find anything concrete. Thanks in advance.

Correct response to a double gas steal?
What is the correct response to a double gas steal as Terran vs Protoss? The Protoss is set back 150 minerals due to the gas steal. Is that enough that you can go scv+marine all in as a response or should you FE to counter it?

Is that enough that you can go scv+marine all in as a response or should you FE to counter it? well you're forced into making pure marines for awhile, i guess the proper macro response would be to FE and throw down additional barracks, bunker up your nat and wall off your ramp. obviously you have to scout what he's doing, but your biggest weakness at this point in time is a blink stalker all in. you will have no way of stopping a push like that any time soon. bunker up and wall off.
note: i might be totally wrong i've never gotten double gas stolen -.-'
