Still a gg, and very nice macro by mondi. i really don't think his gateway placement hindered him. along the right side of his base was plenty of room for more gateways. he definitely could've made more gates, but he was lacking in gas most of the mid to late-game, so they wouldn't have been very helpful | ||

+ Show Spoiler + Why don't zergs do crackling drops mid/late gameish? Seems like they would be cost effective if it could snipe a tech building or two. I'm not talking massive drops, just 2 or 3 overlords filled with lings. I've seen a lot of zergs with idle lings and excess minerals waiting for gas for defilers/ultras, especially on a map like blue storm. Any reasons? Maybe it would've been more effect here if the positions were different, but it still seems viable. Great map btw. | ||
