I don't say it was easy back then, but now its way harder. Micro-oriented skills I think is even harder than macro. Your micro against their korean micro.. ugh. Having seen all the TSL replays, the macro is there, but the micro isn't at the same level IMO. Even now, the arguably 2nd best, chinese players micro isn't as solid as the koreans back then. The fact that Assem won Courage speaks volume about his skills. Assem was the clear favorite to win Teamliquid Tour 2, but IMO he underestimated foreign TvT by not practicing that matchup enough.

I mean, it was piss poor from the reps I've seen, quite embarrassing really, would love to see him against a top terran like advo or strelok or something just to see how he adds up now. Didn't he go like.. 5-0 vs Skew in the eStro tour?

Obviously you'd think he'd steamroll them, seeing as he's practicing with pros and semi-pros, but if he's practicing the wrong things could it come back to bite him? What, exactly, is 'foreign style' ZvT? More like Lair-tech play??

I'm having to completely rework my TvZ because Korean style zvt is so much different(better) than non koreans Maybe the only difference is the increased levels of macro/micro/timing, in which case my previous question is pointless :p

to idra: even if you don't pass your first courage, keep at it. It looks like you get along with your team mates.
