you realize that most of these "random koreans" are probably top amateurs or in top korean clans right?

Although this has been debated in the past endlessly.. Foreigners dont get as much exposure to extremely exacting gameplay. These koreans see opening and they are just ready to jump at it every time.

It is funny how many times ive blown games vs 55% win rate koreans who when behind take one super well executed opportunity and end up winning on a push + simultaneous drop or something. gawd:d

also koreans ONLY play python which I have found is having a hugely adverse effect for those of us (foreigners) that play like 5-6 maps..

Why is it that Koreans have this love affair with Python?
Super serious.

Well actually I think since most of TSL users don't (wisely) play koreans there's an huge skill gap at the same rank. I'd say most of the B koreans equal A- TSL players atm o,O

they better :O

Would top foreigners get better by playing with koreans on iccup if TSL wasn't giving them an incentive not to? Also, are the koreans high up actually better than e.g. Mondragon and Draco, or are they just better practiced/more active?

They are better by far. If you look at the ICCUP Who is who thread you will notice that almost all the koreans that are above mondragon are actually progamers which make it into osl/msl.

I realize it's been said quite a few times, but I really could not believe just how much better the koreans are - playing at the C+/B- range, I thought the difference would be minimal, if at all.
Boy was I wrong, the B- Koreans have really really solid mechanics, their macro alone would completely steamroll me, which has yet to happen a single time vs a foreigner (Not that I've played anyone really good though, but still!).

Koreans are just really really good, I guess that's my point !
