But why the heck didn't the Protoss go for disruption web? And why no Hydras? I don't understand how players of this caliber can make such major strategic mistakes. Or am I wrong? With disruption web and his full force of corsairs (which he often left at home) and scouts he could've easily wiped the zerg at multiple times during the game. Instead he wasted his apm on unnecessary scout micro which is of course important vs terror and devourers, but vs drones seems more obstructive than useful. On the other hand the zerg could've easily taken the game with a hydralisk switch after he had taken the top and bottom expansion and dominated with an economic advantage. Where is the problem to switch to hydras? 100/50 for the Den, 300/300 for the upgrades and he's good to go? He wasted more than 10 times of those ressources with his defenseless ultras and lings against the dark templars. Even though they did manage to eradicate some expansions and most of the Protoss main. But nevertheless a great game. And for christs sake it had SCOUTS!  ) Thx a ton for posting and commenting this one.Maybe some constructive feedback for your commentaries: (and don't take this the wrong way, I like them already, your voice is very soothing and your gameplay knowledge seems quite impressive) - I noticed that you sometimes miss important parts of the action while focussing on another of lesser importance => try to be everywhere :D - this often happened when you where drifting off commenting on strategies they might or might not actually do at this point => this hypothetical talk should be kept to a minimum and only when there is no action going on imho hm when starting the bullets I thought I had more criticism, seems I don't =) good job! and keep em coming! | ||

I didn't think of disruption web. But I agree it might have really helped him to harass those zerg expansions. Since he had sairs + scouts, he could have webbed the spore colonies and shot the drones. Maybe if he had faced hyras the web would have helped in that regard too? Probably not - still, it's nice to think Scouts might see a little more occaisonal use. I'm working on a Commentary between XiaOzl & TT1. Posting soon... | ||
