A native of the world renown Orange County in Southern California, Ryan “Draven” McNamee got his gaming passion ignited early by playing real time strategy (RTS) games such as Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, Lord of the Rings, and none other than Starcraft: Brood Wars. Having dominated local tournaments playing Brood Wars, Draven was one of the many Blizzard fans drooling with anticipation at the arrival of Starcraft 2, and upon its delivery in July of 2010, Draven binged on tournaments, making a name for himself as a well-rounded RTS player. Draven also obtained a job at one of the premiere and largest LAN centers in North America, for years he hustled there and gathered knowledge about his eSports community, allowing him to help found SoCal eSports. Because of Draven's contributions SoCal eSports can proudly state it remains one of the largest eSports organizations in California. Furthermore, Draven's connections and networking through SoCal eSports allowed him to take on another project, and broadcasted a local StarCraft league known as High School Star. As a caster Draven has worked on multiple StarCraft tournaments and leagues, however, Draven does more than just talk about StarCraft, he is pretty handy with his clicks as well.

Recently a team known as Psistorm Gaming recruited Draven, adding him to the great list of their already competitive grand masters, as he hopes to continue upward on his quest for intergalactic dominance of his favorite RTS game.

Draven is a member of the gaming community that doesn't just take, but gives back. This is evident through his work with organizations, events, and teams. Having been an eSports enthusiast for a good portion of his still young life, he is a model citizen and representative of what the eSport community is all about. But his current position as a local host and caster are just the beginning, as Draven strives and dreams of being able to cast professional league matches for StarCraft.
