I remember wanting the terran box (there were three different retail boxes) but getting the protoss one as a present and not wanting to complain. Protoss turned out to be my favorite race lore wise, art wise and as a concept and the carrier was my favorite unit but terran became the race i played and enjoyed the most. Read every page of the manual a hundered times.

I bought two copies on day one (zerg and protoss) so my brother and I could play (didn't realize spawning would be an option). However, I probably didn't touch the game for a few years before I started warming up for SC2.

Crownlol United States3726 Posts June 08 2015 14:16 GMT #20 Kind of a strange question. Did I play WC, WC2, and SC when they came out? Yep. But was I laddering on ICCUP competitively? Nope. So I've loved SC for the full 15+, but only began playing extensively on ladders in WoL.
