KESPA collectively probably has a winning record (excluding the first round of WCS) against the GOM pros, which means the MLG pros (which is basically a watered down version of the GOM pros + Stephano) should have little hope.
To be is to be the value of a bound variable.

Everyone forgets the rule: All Koreans All the time

KeSPA players showed that they are on the cusp of overshadowing the GSL players in the recent WCS Korea. They are going to demolish foreigners not named Stephano.

I really want to see SKT T1 Rain (by.Sun) go against Stephano, what a PvZ it will be.

No what WCS showed was that there are indeed a handful of great SC2 players in Kespa, but that says nothing about the overall skill of Kespa. Players like Rain and Roro are playing amazing games but among most of Kespa the skill level is still a bit lower than that of GSL players and even some of the better foreigners.

Maybe in the first round of WCS, but if you look at the tournament as a whole KeSPA players were trading evenly after the first round. If you want a real example look at the way that they are trading in Code A (Flash and Mini) and Rain made it to Ro8. OSL has looked favorably for KeSPA players too.

Naniwa was argued as a contender for the best foreigner with Stephano less than 6 months ago and he got destroyed by STX Mini, a no name. Without Stephano this is going to get embarrassingly one sided.

Someone from the EU/NA side is going to make a comment like Michel Morganella after getting proxy nexus'd and KeSPA won't attend any more foreign events. *cough* Naniwa

Stephano is not attending.... MLG is looking to be in a tough spot.

I hope for a close event though. This poll is incredible :D

I put my faith in IdrA to take a few games off of the KeSPA players but other than that I see them dominating the tournament.

I voted for KeSPA, but if IMMvp goes I will regret that. I have learned really well not to vote against MVP cause he will win every time I don't.

I see it quite hard for MLG/ESF side to win with the Koreans + Stephano + Scarlett pulled out...Depends on the replacement players they get I guess...

KeSPA players have been beating GOM players. I think it's a pretty safe bet to say that KeSPA players should probably take MLG players.

Of course KeSPA will win. They have Rain, herO, Flash, Effort, RorO, sOs.

If EF got their best players invited (like their top protosses, Leenock, Mvp, etc) they'd crush, but MLG's only valuable players are MC, Oz and arguably Naniwa/Stephano.

It sure looks like it. No KeSPA players have a losing record. No non-koreans have a winning record except for Naniwa 4-2.

I wonder if one North American player will end up over 50/50 record. I highly doubt it.
