the SC2 games I watch are the "WOW this game was epic", "very good players, its a must watch", or "cool strat its hilarious" type of games, mostly on youtube. But i dont like to watch everything thats sc2, because its 80% boring games, even if u watch a good player's stream, or even a competition (of witch we have too many imo, but srsly... its beta, and we already have like what, 1 competition/day??), a lot of the time its a long boring game, players sitting in their bases, macroing.... I rather watch SC1 pros and listen to sick korean commentators. Like the other day, i watched i think movie vs baby in the OSL. I remember there was a sick mine and i stood up on my chair, and yelled as it hit:D. When i will get this from SC2 i will be watching it 24/7 for sure...

Depressing poll I guess. With such an exciting season, it's pretty sad to see so many people prefering SC2, especialy on TL. But hey, more people intesrested in Esport I hope...

Been coming to TL for the BW pro scene for the past 7 years, but these days I come here more for the SC2 stuff. I'll still watch the OSL and MSL semis/finals and the occasional PL match but there really isn't a better resource out there for SC2 related material right now, and that's the game I'm playing. Sorry to see so many SC2 haters

Starcraft 2 ftw.

I played sc1 and BW too many years ago in my Pentium 200 MMX. On dial-up here in spain when internet was starting. Years of good lanparties.
Great memories !!
But now, its 2010 and "Starcraaaft 2 is heeeeere!! (with thors voice!) :D

SC2 is boring as hell to watch in the first place, plus I don't have a key of my own and still don't know all the units/abilities so it makes less sense to me than SC1. Plus it's slower and just boring and crap bleh

I hope that is because of SC2's novelty. the day SC2 overcome Broodwar as an e-sport will be a sad sad one.(because SC2 is one of the most boring things to watch)

I'm gonna guess that SC2 is this popular because mainly newer TL users that came here for SC2.(a theory that explains why most post are pro-SC:BW yet when I watch poll result...

Proleague, because OSL/MSL are on too late at night (early in the morning?) for me to be willing to watch live. Plus, FPL makes proleague more fun to watch, even if I have no chance.

I like watching SC2, I don't think it's boring when there's good casters like Day9, or good players who talk strategy as they play like Gretorp. I still prefer watching pro BW though, I think BW is much more interesting to spectators and full of surprises.

I love watching the OSL / MSL but its more for the players, the game itself of BW is already overshadowed by sc2 (for me!).

I guess since I always hang out in the SC2 section that I miss out on all the SC2 hate on this forum. But man, is it ever coming out of the wood work now, even though the poll numbers basically show an exact opposite to what most everyone is saying in their responses.

Well, it's a poll. There's really not much to discuss imo, vote for what you like the most. But the haters of SC2 will obviously try to get as much attention as possible. Right now I enjoy watching SC2 more, simply because I'm playing it and I don't play SC.

Wow, why the hate seriously? why not be happy new people are joining the community for sc2 and that many people who previously had little to no interest in esports enjoy watching it? How does this hurt the progaming scene, if SC:BW is so much better then it will continue to attract its own following. Does the older TL crowd feel so threatened by SC2 that they need to bash it mindlessly just because it wins a poll? Just watch what you enjoy no need to trash the other side.

As newcomer to TL I'm a bit taken aback with this comment thread since it contradicts my earlier positive impressions of the community as intelligent, friendly and reasoning. You people are the same as those who trash esports because they prefer basketball or football.
