I didn't watcha single SC:BW game since the SC2 Beta was released. There is just too much user generated content for SC2 (Everything day9 SC2 related, glhf.tv, hd, husky, DJwheat, Artosis, Shoutcraft and all the other streams) out there that next to playing the beta I can't even make the time to watch a single SC:BW match. I guess I'll tune in for the MSLOSL finals, but that's about it.

I am actually a bit surpirsed that SC2 could take over the role of SC:BW so easily for me. Especially when I am considering that I watched basically all BW tournaments in the last 3 years. It was nice watching BW over the last years, but I guess it is time to finally move on.

Lol, so much hate for sc2

As a European it's just hard to follow the Korean broodwar stuff live and the foreigners don't seem to be playing it anymore, so is it any wonder that so many people prefer watching SC2?
Personally, I just love being there at the start.. seeing how the game evolves, both organically and artificially (through the Blizzard nerfs etc).
I don't own a beta key, but seriously people, it's not THAT bad as an e-sport, is it?? Let's just hope that the Korean geniusses stop playing scbw soon, so we can see them take SC2 to the next level (I'm assuming that there is a next level obviously.. I don't see how any of you can know the answer to that question either..)

I've been watching a lot of SC2 and OSL because it seems that NO ONE IS COMMENTATING ANYTHING ELSE.
Would love to see some MSL/Proleague commentaries.

Also, I've really, really been enjoying the Nal_Ra Oldboy series. Everyone needs to check that out. Mega props to the guys who are subbing it!

MSL. The first games of the ro8 were amazing, and it's only getting better from here I think. If they manage not to screw the finals up this time, they might actually get a sponsor on time next round!

I can't believe it's ~65% SC2 right now. What exactly is enjoyable about watching it? I had fun playing it for about a month of beta, I'll admit, but it's just not anywhere near as interesting to watch at this stage...

maybe in the future sc2 will be a good spectator sport, but currently there is no way it can compare to the well established pro scene that bw has.

i honestly cannot fathom why someone would enjoy watching sc2 over the korean leagues.

I think some of the reasons why SC2 has a lot of votes could be due to some of the casters that are doing SC2 at the moment. The game doesn't have to be appealing to the eyes, but with the right caster it makes the difference. I watch anything SC, SC2 is fun to watch when casters I like are casting the game. Proleague is fun because it is BW and I can relate to it somewhat still. MSL and OSL are great as well.

I like watching sc2 the most :-)

it takes exceptional games of sc1 to keep me very interested
whereas in sc2 just a "good game" keeps me engaged cuz so much of it is new

I've never played in iCCup (I use a mac). I don't ever plan to. I do see myself playing SC2 though, and watching SC2 vids helps me learn strategies I can then use. Plus it's more fun to watch.
