Honestly all of these have perfectly manageable solutions, but I'd have to agree with roaches simply because they eliminate protoss' zeal pressure early game(unless its some kind of crazy 3 gate all-in)

colossus are not really tough to counter for terran at all. they completely rape a marauder marine army but if you include vikings (and not just banshees) then they die ridiculously easy. (vikings attack colossus with their air to air attack - which has 9 range, thus far out of stalker range.. you don't even need starport addons. )

Roaches are annoying, and in ZvZ they dictate the gameplay, but in ZvP, Immortals hard counter Roaches. Mutalisks aren't that bad, and a decent amount of Sentries can deal with Mutalisks. Colossus and Banelings aren't really even that bad nor are Reapers or Marauders. (Though I didn't honestly mind Reapers before the patch. They died fairly easily.)

Maraduars and Reapers look so balanced due to this poll. It's just that every other unit is so much more overpowered than they are.

Although, I don't think Immortals are too overpowered, same thing with Colossus...at least they can be killed by the opposing races. First time I saw my entire giant 30+ unit army melt to 12 Marine/Maraduar I almost cried

But I still hate the god damned roaches more.

As a p player ranked 8 in platinum division. I gotta say it's immortals. They are a insanely extreme hard counter to a lot of units. I think big reason why muta do so well right now is races don't have much to go against muta, not so much about it having good stats. Like stalkers or phoenix not being that great of a counter due to them not coming from robo.

I don't really think roaches are op so far. I do think they need some adjustments in how they fit into games though. Whatever happens with them they can do some interesting things and I would like to still see some strong roach play in some games.

banelings are the onlyones im not really familiar with// playing against yet...
i dont tink these are over powered..
perhaps marine or the new dragoon isnt as powerful as need be to be early counters to buy u time till u get something better/ tech

Lol, i dont even use roaches in any matchup except zvz and (ranked 8 in a platinum division)
baneling/hydra in zvt(maybe couple roaches mixed in if he has hellions)
and mutas and more mutas in zvp, thats just me though @.@
ive been losing a lot to timing push that smuft described so i might need to revert back to roaches for protection

I voted colossus even though i dont truly believe that
thats real reason i go mutas now because colossus wrecks zerg ground units
BUT, i have recently realized how powerful the 10 second mindcontrol of infestors are
can literally mindcontrol until the battle is done and over and finish off the lonely colossus
