EDIT: almost forgot, about the match format, how is the opponent being choose? like, for example, if Plexa feel like it, he would put me in the first match against Idra. Does it work like that?

That's not entirely accurate, because the money wasn't provided by Inc but rather by a donor who donated it to TeamLiquid to use for this tournament. I don't think donating the money means you get to pick exactly who you want either (unless its somehow made clear at the outset), but that's another issue.

Regardless, the $500 is to be used for the tournament.

This is a chinese free tourney. Sorry. The lag issues is simply too much for me, an amateur organizer to deal with. So that means that Chinese from People`s Republic of China, Republic of China (Taiwan), Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, United States, Canada, Vietnam etc. are all excluded from the tournament? Gee, must be tough when your nationality determines whether or not you have lag issues. But seriously, that rule needs to be clarified, lest someone takes it the way I showed above. In any case, this is a preety good tourtnament. Lots of interesting names. This also represents a chance for good players who are not established progamers to prove themselves. I seriously hope a replay pack will be available. We should clarify the "no hacking" rule too, because people could get it confused with physically going outside and chopping firewood. We don't want to accidentally ban people from heating their houses now do we? People are more likely to misunderstand the rule I point out, especially considering some people often tend to show animosity towards the Chinese. On the other hand, nobody hates people who chop wood. Show nested quote + On July 15 2009 23:57 LosingID8 wrote:everyone that plays bw at a competitive level would know what that rule means.
