That'd be lame.

After their first incident, I think everybody would understand if he decided not to play. On the other hand, playing and then whining about the conditions would be pretty unsportsmanlike.

It's not like the Chinese aren't used to decent latency in internal Chinese leagues/tournaments. At least I'd expect the conditions to be much better than those when playing cross-continent games online.
