Quote taken out of context. Actually, he didn't even quote. Not saying Idra's not arrogant, but your argument...doesn't exist.

Sadly something went wrong, maybe IdrA got too emotionally involved? Maybe F91 just is a very gifted player that with worse practice partners than IdrA he can still do well, maybe the top chinese aren't that different from the people IdrA gets to practice with regularly, how strong is the B-team after all? The chinese surprise me more all the time, I bet they're going to be a big force on the SC2 scene. Obviously the hate against IdrA is completely understandable knowing his past, being arrogant and blunt about his views, but some of you are just being far too harsh here.

From viewing the games 1. He didnt learn anything in 9 months, looked like c+ play, and if he chokes from playing liquibition how is he gonna do in a live tv match (IF he goes to the A-team, wich i doubt). 2. He is still very bad mannered. so my question is: Why is a big team like CJ spending money and time on this loser? he does not represent CJ in a good way.

Anyway Idra will never do anything in progaming first of all you must be very calm playing this game and his emotions are clearly affecting his game. On top of that even is he plays 25 hours a day he dont have even "T" from Talent or game sense like many top progamers have like Flash Bisu Savior so he is just waisting his time. And being a big asshole is not helping him at all ...

I still think and even to this day that CJ wasn't really intending on finding absolute talent from the foreignors but rather an attraction. Face it, foreigner's playing starcraft is just more unique than the influx of koreans raping the scene over and over.

They don't really need foreign players, they could choose any Korean amateur instead. It's probably because their sponsors want to extend their advertising to outside Korea, so they want to extend the Korean SC scene to include foreigners too. Maybe it's also an image thing... "hey look we got this 'awesome' player from the US, he's really talented so he can even play on B team and scrub our floors. We're open to foreigners, we're such a great team". It also seems that they don't really care about who they invite... or else no one would have invited that "Toad" guy who's been in the news recently as the new foreigner who went to Korea - and no one heard of him, so he can't be nearly as good as the others. It's really more like a PR thing. They don't need foreigners, they don't care about their skill. They just want to reach more audience outside of Korea. They're lucky that at least a few of our top foreign players are still crazy enough to go there. And fail. Well, at least they're all still young, so they can still change their life after they realize that progaming in Korea isn't as great as it looks from the epic showbiz.
