honestly, it's the same letter twice so it's easy to type it only once if you're very used to going "g + g + alt q" yeah becouse after you type g you need to leave the game in the very same second, no time to add another G! oh wait Specialy since another "g" is so far away on the keyboard then the previous "g".. Oh wait.. I'd argue that it's easier to miss the key that's at the same spot because the key will stay down and you have to let go for a certain time before you can press it again. 9 months, 12 hours practice of typing gg at the end of each game, and he fails in what, 3 out of 7 games in one night.. move along.. Bang! No really as much as I know of Idra those were intended "g"s. As someone mentioned earlier, this bashing isn't because he lost. It is from his bashing of F91, and more or less every other opponent he has been playing for the last 3 years. "F91 played straight up all games and he is the better player", We would never EVER hear that from Idra, but the majority of the player would actually say it. no professional in sports or e-sports would say that. the closest they would ever say is "the other guy was the better player tonight", but as a pro nobody would ever admit that someone they lost to is just plain better than they are. there's no point to it
I stand corrected in that case, actually I think as you are saying: "playing better tonight" is the more propriate way to put it. As I was saying, I cannot see Idra saying that.

F91 has been one of the best China Zergs for a few years and he continues to grow.
Each match was pretty one-sided.
IdrA's show match results have never been all that impressive. I never expected much out of this.

2 games are $50 and he got another $25 for just playing the games(even if series were 0-7).

It's happened to me a couple times before, especially after losing a game I wasn't happy about. I would type "g g [enter] alt+q q" really fast, so I might miss the second g, so it ends up being "g [enter] alt+q q" Happened two times, then the last game he just blatently left.. It wasnt a mistake. Yes, that does seem like the best counter argument. Itachii and Samurai- seemed to just want to feed their idra hate with sarcasm. Twice in a row -- pretty indicative of Idra's mental state, even if didn't intend to be BM. To be clear, I have nothing against him nor I really care about his todays loss...maybe I would if I actually voted for him in LB which I didn't. I just corected the guy who was defending Idra's bad manner by saying that he mistyped GG 3 times of 7 trys. You realize it's the same person. -_- I still don't get how many ppl are absolutely convinced that Idra did it on purpose. I'm not defending his BM. I'm saying we can't really know if he BM, especially since I've played a lot of games and mistakenly typed "g" instead of "gg" without meaning BM.
NO "g" or "gg" in last game, that certainly was not just a mistake.

You're taking that out of context. He was talking about his pimpest play where he moved into 2 mines with 4 goons without observers, moved back and clicked hold position and the goons fired at the mines, 2 per mine. That random targeting was luck, and he'd have been hit by the mines if he hadn't been lucky with the targeting. -_-
That being said, I've accidentally missed both g's while typing gg a few times. Normally when you're irritated you want to get the gg over with asap, and mistakes happen. I don't think it was a mistake in this case, though.
When will the replays be released?

I expect to win 6-1 or 5-2, some of the maps are conducive to tricky cheesy builds which he excels at so I could drop a game or two that way. Beyond his general style I don't know much about his play, don't think I've played him since WWI and haven't seen any recent replays of his ZvT.
As for the maps, obviously I'm comfortable on Chupung as I chose it. I think its a very heavily Terran favored map in general, especially TvZ. His choice, Tau Cross, kind of suprised me. It's generally considered balanced as far as I know, although I've always really liked it TvZ, but I would have expected him to choose something very Zerg favored. Raid Assault will be interesting, I think I have a good build for it but I have no solid idea how an unusual Zerg will play on a very unusual map. The other maps are fairly standard, Desti and Medusa are Z>T when playing with Koreans, but mainly because they are very abusable for Muta micro. From what I've seen F91 doesn't have Muta micro comparable to Koreans, though it is quite good by foreigner standards. I'm probably least comfortable on Andromeda and Colosseum, though they are statistically T>Z, just due to unfounded personal preference."
Compare to F91:
"In my opinion I think the maps for this series are fine for me atleast they're not too Terran favoured. We've played each other in Blizzcon 2008 and I lost 1-2. I know he is a really good Terran player but that doesn't mean I have no confidence against him either. In fact, I'm actually really confident against him since I am not in any ways less motivated than him to prove myself in this series. I've been training in Raid Assault 2 recently because this is probably the only map in the entire series which I've played the least in. Hopefully , I can keep my winning streak for this awesome event. Thanks to TL.net and also my sponsors like Steelseries, Cooler Master, MSI and Best Poker last but not least of course my lovely team Fnatic."
it seems like you changed idra's words around from the original translation posted in the other thread....

There is a difference between cockiness and confidence. You don't have to be a politician and say, "This will be a great matchup. F91 is a very strong opponent and I expect a great series." You are free to say you think you will win and that you believe you have the better training partners, it's the way that IdrA comes across when he says it. He seems like a dick in interviews & in his comments, so people like to rub it in his face when he loses.

- when all is said and done, I wish I was half as good as both f91 or Idra himself - with both races : ) - also, I know it's a personal bias, but I am always happy when Zerg players win, regardless.

Idra is showing decent results against Koreans. This is more a testament to F91's play than anything else, which has been ridiculously good for a foreigner.
And by reading over this thread I'm pretty disgusted by the other European SC players. It's beyond pathetic to do what you're doing...
