With great support from the CJ Entus team, we are proud to announce the Teamliquid Charity Shirt Auction. During the purchase of shirts for the community, CJ Entus was gracious enough to donate 4 signed progamer style shirts for our charity auction.
Progamer shirts signed by Savior, Iris, Xellos and Much
Unlike the ones sold to the public in our shirt lottery, these are the actual style of shirt worn by your favorite CJ players, complete with sponsor patches.
All proceeds from these auctions will be donated to the Child’s Play Charity via eBay's Giving Works program.
Bidding will open on Sunday October 5th at 11:59 EST
About Child’s Play

The staff do everything they can to get anything and everything from the Korean teams that they can. It's amazing they got 100 shirts, let alone 4 more signed shirts. If it's humanly possible to get any jackets from CJ, they will get them. I would assume they would not be available for sale to anyone ever, though.

...If I weren't so constrained by my utterly poor college kid salary (though I have a pretty kickass job!), I'd totally be bidding on these shirts, but with no real way to get money, I might have to sell some of my stuff if I see I can feasibly win this.
...or it not, would it be possible to get some sponsor patches and sew them on yourself :D?

"Ebay auction" is actually a somewhat unique format, which I personally find to be kinda dumb. It's like a bastardized second-price, partially open bid (only the first price is sealed), time-constrained, multi-bid auction. I wish they would adopt a standard format, so that there's no reward in bid-sniping.

Instead of having a deadline and having lots of people cramming votes right before the deadline, wouldn't it make more sense to have, say, a specified period after the last bid during which people can say that they'd like to bid higher (like going once, going twice, etc.)? Or are you guys already doing it that way?

I think Ebay accepts Visa. I know the paypal we are using accepts visa so yes credit card will be possible.

There's actually very little benefit in bid sniping. Since it automatically adjusts the displayed bid to the second price, if you just bid your maximum amount beforehand it will actually discourage others from sniping, because they will realize it is out of their price range. People also tend to bid more than they wanted to in the heat of sniping. It's better to make a sound decision of your absolute maximum bid, and enter it in any time during the auction.
I didn't think about Koreans finding it and bidding. This will go for much more than I previously thought because of them.

Please be patient, we are having issues with Kennigit's internet connection, the auctions will go up as soon as possible. It will be up for 10 days from when we put it up so you won't miss anything, trust me.
