Didn't you suggest to banish all russians from tl.net, twist?
I think the biggest reason russians seem to you to be bad-mannered online is that most russians stop considering games appropriate for their age early so their majority is young. Europeans and North-Americans more often play games seriously through College/University/that age and obviously being more mature act more mature online.
I don't remember his name but just look at the kid who won Quake 3 on WCG 2002 and other russian Quake 3 players present there(they were like 13-15 years old), androide(was 15 or 16 then), and probably others. But you are condemning a nation, even you're joking, it's said in quite a serious manner; and those who are laughing at it are probably only your friends, those who always say ROFLMAO to everything, and those who laugh at everything somebody popular in certain circles says.

agree about average manners . ppl from soviet space generally just don't know what is manner =(
abut laggin...i don't think we was. was watching games in that inet cafe they all played. nothing lagged (it's very good connection there) and every1 played 4 themselves. exept androide, but he wasn't there. he played from home i think.
and...diacon (sleeping) was really worse than ppl he beat. but u should ban him b4 final tourney. as i said to admins. no report/sharing account, etc. that's admins error that he played in finals and annoyed Rek.

I remember in a thread someone was joking about americans ( the american worldmap or so ) , and just like a lot of russians now a lot of americans were angry :D
