korean mapmakers allways need to fuck good shit up like couple of good maps out there zodiac/python/luna/taucross etc they try to do new things but often it just sucks

Well, I think the explanation for the cliffable expoes is that the previous season's maps were dreadful for Terran. I like these maps, since they do give some help to Terran, but the maps are so open that Protoss and Zerg will have nice mobility. I seriously love all these maps.

LR, I love katrina as well, and think it shoudl be kept.

I love the new maps

I would have preferred keeping Troy and booting out Blue Storm though.

Unlike most, I favor keeping Katrina - sure, PvX was imbalanced previously, but with Flash's innovations + revamping of the map, I see the map as holding some potential.

Nice, open maps. I think that some of them might be deemed unbalanced straight away, but as the example of Katrina shows, players NEED to adapt, that's all. Plain and simple.

The Hunters makes me feel that 2v2 games aren't treated seriously. Seriously, they could have kept Seongangil from last season, which had many really good games.

But well, map makers need to earn money somehow.

i love the design and concepts of all these new maps

i especially like the design of hannibal, if only they increased the sizes of the mains and added a few more expos, it looks like it would be a fun 1v1 map to play

Less innovations this time :/ None of the 1:1 maps are kinda "new" and refreshing.

why are people so against hunters as a map? its a cool idea for 2v2 and can make for fun games to watch...i dont see why people have such problems with this....(also maybe they will add a new game to proleague matches....3v3!!!):-)

Uh, like OP said, hunters is positionally very imbalanced. You ever play there? 11 and 12 frickin share the same natural. 9 has one path straight to the middle while other positions can connect with other starting points first, etc. Sure it's a fun map, but due to imbalances it's ridiculous to actually take seriously in Proleague
