What makes you think I did not read the LiquidSea retirement? I read the whole thing, I just wanted to make sure, by asking that question.
Yes I read the whole thing.
Just wanted to make sure that Sea lost interest in SC2.
Please don't go around warning everyone, don't be so quick to judge.

Yes, the reason he retired from SC2, according to what he said in his Afreeca stream, is that the game isn't fun because he isn't getting better. In fact, he's streaming BW on Afreeca right now.

Unfortunately for us, it couldn't last. Though Sea enjoyed his time on Liquid, especially getting to experience IPL5, he couldn't rediscover his passion and enjoyment for gaming. One of the main reasons Sea had for joining Liquid was that he felt he would regain a joy for gaming that had worn away after having played professionally for seven years. And while the experience of being on a new team and traveling abroad gave Sea some new motivation, it was not enough. As one of the Brood War greats, Sea has high standards, and he wasn't enjoying the game as much as he needed to, in order to reach the level of success he was asking from himself. After a lot of thought and discussion with Liquid and those around him, Sea made the difficult decision to retire.
It's explicitly mentioned in the announcement.

Why isnt he streaming on Liquid as well?

Definitely not the right way to go about that. Also, your first post makes it completely obvious that you have know idea what you're talking about,
This sucks. He showed some really good games that made me hopeful for his future in SC2. GL Sea!

You know some kind of telepathy or something? Why would I not read it? I love reading anyway and I kinda like Sea, he is a promising player. Stop accusing, if you don't know I read it or not, because I did.

Bummer to see you go sea. I always enjoyed watching you interesting and well thought out strategies and your stream. I hope that you find happiness with what ever you chose to do next = ) .

Well, thinking about this, I feel somewhat betrayed. In signing with Liquid he was promised as a SCII player, yet two months later he leaves the game, not because he has lost passion for gaming, but because SCII just was not worth it.
While on one hand I respect his decision to leave because he was living a lie....The other part of me questions why he had to do that. He left a whole in the heart of the people who loved him for who he was becoming in SCII...
And to see him streaming BW...I cannot help but feel that it was such a waste - that he should not have acted so soon...that he should have thought about it, perhaps played SCII before he made such a decision.
Because it is evident, after only one month of gameplay, that he does not enjoy SCII, and if someone does not enjoy the game then they can never bring 100% of their game to the table. I am of two minds about this. It sucks that he does not like SCII. But a lot of the KeSPA players do not like SCII it seems...and I cannot but wonder why Blizzard does not try to make the game better....this is a question I have asked for so long. And it baffles me.
But in the end, his decision to quit leaves me feeling somewhat betrayed.

I was watching his stream a bit, but it's pretty sad. He said he earned about 2,500,000 won ($2500 USD?) monthly, but it was a pure grind since he didn't enjoy the game at all. He's going to stream BW until he goes to the army. He yells out some random stuff everytime someone throws money at him. I guess some people find that entertaining. I thought it was disgusting.
Afreeca is basically a livestream 4chan. It's filled with cam whores (literally, girls do stuff n viewers give them money), cheaters like savior playing in a tournament, and retired pros doing various things like dancing w/ just underwears just to earn money. It's a shit hole.
Oh, and he earned about $200 already.

WOW, so sad. So early, he had just joined Team Liquid a couple of months ago.

I just have to wonder how many other Kespa notables are in a similar situation on the inside...

So you insult the platform because of some of the people that use it? Ok. In the end, savior can stream on afreeca if he pleases and people can donate to him if they please. It feels strongly like you're doing everything you can to find something wrong with this.

seems so unexpected, especially because he hasn't even been on Team Liquid for a very long. sad day

I guess he couldn't find the motivation to play SC2 since it's not that entertaining for him.
Good luck, Sea. I won't forget the day when he was showing a dominant form at OSL Challenge League.
