People get lucky draws all the time (see Naniwa in Code S and there are so many other examples.) DRG was due for a lucky draw (getting Oz that is), it seems he always gets the group of death or at least one of the tougher groups. ik, i saw that game, but that was really DRGs only top tier game, preparing for mkps mech play on ohana really nicely. his other win was against jangbi, which doesnt count since jangbi pressed the wrong button on his sentry which led to his death

I'd say if there was a poll ''who do you think will win it'' and only included Rain/MC/other then it'd be 55/30/15 It kind of is. We know rain is good but he was expected to 'maybe' get out of the groups in code s. so basically until the season is over every win he gets over an esf player will be considered an upset

Last vs Rain will only be interesting if Last wins unfortunately. Either result won't say much about either player. The sad truth is that if Last doesn't win the tournament then Last will not be recognized as a top teir contender. People will still be skeptical, willing to write it off as fluke and happenstance in a young OSL tournament with many inexperienced players. Rain doesn't have that burden. Even if he loses to Last he will have a lot of momentum behind him. Lose OSL and win GSL? People will still be calling him the number 1 protoss in the world. Veering off topic some, I want to see Rain win OSL but lose to Life in the finals of GSL. Just because it would be great to watch the forums go ape shit trying to figure out just what that means.

Shocked anyone thinks either ESF player would be 'humiliated' in the finals though. I guess you're only good if you've made a Ro4 GSL in the last month. Expecting so much lag again for the stream though, so would appreciate more write ups so I can actually tell what happened.

I would love to see the Protoss President swept off his feet in the finals questioning his candidacy for President of the race that we call Protoss.

1, because MC asserts his Protoss presidency, and 2, for those who get the joke

I mean there are sick games, sick players, sick stories (gogo Rain ! ^_^), awesome recap by TL (and that's my only source of info about it), and still, it's like it has been under the radar all along... It would be awesome to avoid a ZvP or PvP as a final, but I don't see Last winning this... Rain is just too good, it'd take a huge upset for Last to advance...
