Hey man just wanted to say thanks for being one of those few BW players to actually have an account on TeamLiquid. So sad to see you leave at this big transition in your life, I hope that SC2 didn't hurt your health by stressing you out in any way. Although I never really followed the BW scene, its times like these when I wish you could just relive your BW years over again and not have to pass away.

He was always so happy, it was contagious. I still remember that amazing game he played against fantasy. He helped make me a KT fan..

Rest in Peace Violet. My sincere condolences to your family, friends, and teammates.

As mentioned in another forum, Violet was one players that lead to my rooting for KT. I have and will always love protoss, and Violet is the reason. I have rewatched his games, and will miss him in the future.

There will always be a gap now.

I'm still brought to tears when i think about this from time to time or watch one of those amazing games of his, Then the short tribute they did yesterday before Pro League really got to me....I hate this so much T.T Rest in Peace Violet. Thank you so much for the great games and being such a huge inspiration. You'll be forever missed.

So I decide to randomly visit TL after a month or so to see what's happening and this is what I see on the first page. Oh my god, this completely caught me off-guard- the last I heard of Violet, he was recovering. This is so so sad. I remember watching him when I first started to get into BW, and his win against Canata in the 2010 PL finals (don't know why I especially remember that out of all the games he's played but oh well). He was just my age, too. That urn picture posted by Sawamura in the KT vs Stars thread or earlier made me so sad.... it's like the final proof leading to the final realization that he's really gone.... he's really really gone.
