When you -- and others -- say something like "the results didn't matter that much, just wanted to see the games", I recognize it as something I've felt when watching other sports (like MMA or BW), but it's alien to my mind about SC2. Like I think the first thought I had when reading that was "But whats the point if I dont win?". It's true. When SC2 was new I didn't miss a single GSL match because there were always new things to discover in the game. Nowadays when the game has been figured out, it is obvious that it isn't that great of a game. SC2 is kept alive solely because of it being the successor to Brood War, the game itself is too volatile to be interesting. I still kind of follow the scene, but I rarely watch games since they always play out the same way. There are of course exceptions, like DRG-MMA or other amazing matchups. But those are incredibly rare and are, more often than not, exciting because of the hype-factor rather than amazing games. User was temp banned for this post.

Thank you for helping me realize that I shouldn't try to play SC2 competitively if all I can think about is winning and losing, and not the experience. ![]()

Plus people tend to only remember you for your GSL semi final performances and forget, all you BM once you started losing. Also who can forget that time when you where acting on HuK's behalf in that group selection thing. You where acting like you where hot shit and you owned the place even though you were fairly knocked out to code B. I mean do you have to act like a total ass to gom tv just because you haven't been getting the results. Just so you know, I didn't do anything Huk hadn't told me to do.... We were trying to troll Supernova, and just were not aware of the rule that once you place something on the board, it is final. There is a language barrier after all. I did not do anything BM, I had to stand my ground or a simple misunderstanding of the rules of the proceeding would have led to me screwing over two friends, which is not an acceptable outcome, and overrides being 'nice' or whatever. And I openly admitted in the post that I had periods where I acted poorly so it's not like I'm trying to hide it. It's definitely something I really regret and feel very bad about.

When I talked (couple of weeks ago) to a friend who watched the fist three GSL seasons he asked me "And btw is this foreigner guy still in Code S? This Terran guy who was like really good, from TL." Good luck and Have fun, in your life.
