Even a friend of mine who doesn't play SC2 (watching MLG for LoL) was raving after that series. I need a better picture of that moment... but yeah, awesome write-up- like usual. | ||

Kidding aside, excellent article, showing how the passion that was lit by BW and WC3 is now coming into full bloom. SC2 has a lot of elements that BW has going for it right now, like a stable pool of easily-accessible commentators, organizations willing to invest heavily in the game to develop a league system and a wide range of players with different personalities that can resonate with people. The BarCraft events could be the way it gains the presence it needs to actually attract non-players into watching the games, and making game watching and fanboy/girl attitudes acceptable for pro-gamers will be the most important step SC2 has to make to match (and probably surpass) BW worldwide. | ||
