As a first time MLG attendee, I was very worried at first (in fact one of those 5 threads about it was mine), but we took our chances and had no problem with the weather at all, even during the drive. I heard it wasn't as big as the other MLG 2011 events, but it was still an amazing time.

I also really appreciate Flamewheel's writeup -- it's nice to hear honest, positive talk about both scenes, and thinking about how SC2 looked a year ago is also interesting. If you keep following the scene, things seem to change little by little, so it's easy to forget how much things have developed overall. Great job as always <3
