It IS sad because it is the day I realize that SC2 is not just about a group of friends that meet to have fun, share experiences and grow together. It IS sad because it is the day I realize this just any other sport, where money is power. I agree. But the problem is not with the players or the teams. The problem is the state of E-sports. If there was more funding around we wouldn't have these huge swaps like with puma and huk.

Cross team will never beat inhouse training, he has the world best players to train with, I bet much of his recent success boils down to MC and his training partners and also his endless practising. Liquid wanted to keep him, but what EG offered was to quote "life changing". So quite sure its about the money. (not saying its a bad thing, id do the same, just no reason to not accept it)

More funding means more teams are able to buy out other players' contracts, meaning that shifts could occur more frequents, a la real sports. Even with more funding, not all teams will be funded equally, and you'll still have situations like this where a better funded team offers a player of a lesser funded team an offer the player cna't refuse.
