Anyone who's critisism of HuK is monetary based is either overprivelidged or never had to try and support themselves out in the real world.
We're not talking about pro atheletes here that leaving for an extra 5 million dollars when theyre already making 85 million, we're talking about potentially poverty line wages vs comfortable living, in a highly unstable and uncertain "industry" with apparently extremely fickle and immature fans that will drop you at the slightest hint of displeasure.
I didn't want to see HuK leave Liquid, but after some of the immature and childish banter that has gone on here, I have to say I'm MORE of a fan of HuK, because he did what he needed to do amicably and without ruining the relationships hes made over the past year.

It'll be hard to support HuK now, I won't support an EG player at all

Sad to see HuK leaving Liquid

My favorite 2 teams are EG and Liquid because of the content they give the community, being a fan of both, I don't see this as a sad day, I'm both happy and excited for HuK and EG. I feel bad for Liquid but if anyone can fight through this, it's Liquid.

So sad that one of my favorite players leaves my favourite team .

It will never be the same again
Seriously i thought it was a joke of those EG rumours but now it is true, i will never look sc2 the same again.
In fact i will just delete sc2 now
THIS IS THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT
Answers like this and people claiming they're crying right now make me wonder... overreacting much? ^^
I'm not really a fan of EG and how they handle things, but you have to admit, all the hype EG started surrounding this transfer was perfectly done, and the picture+video on EG website is awesome.
I wish the best of luck to HuK, he is and will continue to be one of the most entertaining SC2 players, no matter which team he chose.

I can't help but notice the lack of a response from Tyler, wonder if its because of his own issues he is dealing with or if he is pissed, he seemed to have alot invested in huk, <3 huk, my girlfriend no longer likes you now that you are EG, but i do

I can't understand the haters and complainers in this case. Maybe if you have supported a sports team rather than a specific player than you would understand, also to add to the fact EG's reputation. Kinda like Man City eh?
sport teams usually play as a team whereas sc2 is mostly individual and liquid doesn't play in any teamleagues afaik

EG is like The Alliance in the SC2 mainstory. Keep fighting the good fight, peeps!

<3 Such an emotional post.

HuK, I'll always be a huge fan!

Chris "HuK" Loranger has left Team Liquid and has signed a reportedly 6-figure deal with EG

That teams buy players in starcraft is great for esports! I will still be a big fan of tl eg and HuK

This is interesting. Perhaps Huk can get Idra back in shape.

Well at least both Liquid and Huk are keeping it classy. This is heads and shoulders above the way some other players and team parted ways.
