idra, huk and puma training together in korea *nerdchills*

i second those nerd chills, maybe we can get more imbalanced TV, its funny though how IdrA just moves in to this one house and now he goes to another one

How is that more worthy of nerdchills than be able to train with the entire OGS team? lol

Shame, GL to huk anyways, but imo its a bad move, moving away from ogs to a random house with 3 guys, just sounds like a downhill road, but then again eg might be joining up with another team.

What happend to idra wanting to stay in the us to play there. All seems odd

I'm actually curious about Idra in this whole thing. I thought he quit Korea for reasons that seem to make a lot of sense...what made him change his mind ?

This is all just my guesses:

I would assume that the GSL is getting way better about players going to foreign tournaments now that their players are doing that constantly. With EG's money it's probably a good time to be training in Korea and going to all of the MLG's and stuff you can.

You may not like EG but they are providing for players and obviously it's enough for people to move. I don't see what the problem is.

I'm not an EG fan and I probably never will be, but I'll support HuK no matter what team he's on.

So if Idra is going to Korea to join Huk and Puma to train and compete, where does that leave the guys in the EG training house in NA?

Screwed.

EG house in NA is going to be so weak and they'll just continue to get dominated by Korean/Korean-trained/EU players.

They have....DeMu at least...but yea, seems like a poor choice to setup a new house in Arizona and have the 3 best players in Korea.

LOL what the hell, going to TL got Huk at least 50x more fans.

TBH HuK wasn't one of my favorite players until recently, he has begun to grow on me these last couple months. Good thing im not bias towards teams!

Cheers

Was the countdown and Dan Brown'ish stuff really necessary? It's just a transfer.

Most of the community thought it was fun (650 pages thread in record time), and it was the community that made the hype. A countdown and some distorted soundclips doesnt promise a new starcraft league in space or anything.

This is pretty big news. Huk and Idra on the same team, Idra back to Korea, they team up with Puma in a korean EG traninghouse... Put together it is pretty big news.

if thats what he wants, then good for him

Since huk will be training with much lesser abled bodies (relative the people at OGS-TL house) he must have recieved an offer from EG that makes his tournament prize winnings insignificant to him. If he really wanted to become the best then he should have stayed with TL. The practice environment was just soo much better than idra and puma will provide, especially since everyone knows idra didnt practice that much when he was in korea anyways.

Huk chose money over improvement, there is no other way to look at it. Unless EG brings in better folks, Huks skill may go down due to lack of good training. Even if EG brings more, it would be hard to match the TL-OGS house.

Personally, i thought huk was the kind of guy who just wanted to be the best, but this move goes against all logical reasoning if he wishes to keep improving at the rate he is. Bad move by huk if he wishes to get better, good move by huk if he is in it for the money.

Either way, good luck Huk..

Dont see their current line up as that strong anyway. They have to have at least a couple more signings lined up if they want to establish themselves as a strong team in the korean scene. 1 of each race doesnt do any good, HuK wouldnt even be able to practice PvP in korea if its only Idra, puma and him.
