great writeup. like everyone else, I love them. I'm looking forward to Goody claiming first spot when he wins ipl 2

also, as someone mentioned earlier, it's good to see some protoss up there.
Things are laid back in Unidenland. And may the road ahead be lid with dreams and tomorrows. Which are lid with dreams. Also.

lol I'm pretty sure those three are really only what Germany has to offer (except of course the huggable Christopher Semke (Mondragon))

Wow, didn't realize that koreans took like 13100 of the $14000 MLG prizepool.
Thank God and gunrun.

Darkforce, Xlord, Rine, Insolence, Delphi, TLO aren't bad. Probably a couple others I've forgotten.

What ever happened to Infernal and Horror from BW, anyway? They seem to not have done much with SC2.

I like how MLG gets all hyped up for 5k USD while europeans play in tournies with a larger prize or similar and barely gets coverage.

Much of the MLG hype is due to the Korean players' participation and the size of the live audiences. It's not necessarily about the prize pool.

Man goody is probably one of the most consistant people ever.

Same with Socke really, can't wait to see more of them in tournaments.

having goody at MLG would be awesome too.

MLG has positioned itself as a industry convention rather than a typical LAN, where everyone go to network and gain exposure rather than in hope of making bank.
Thank God and gunrun.

Just and FYI the prize pool For the City Hunter event was over $5000 with nGenMafia's Prize (a brand new PC, including Peripherals and a Monitor) worth over $3000!

I believe Mikilatov only account for cash prizes, not total prize value.

Yeah unfortunately I can't really quantify all prizes, since normally the value isn't given, and if it is it's generally quite inflated. Additionally, quantifying cost of flights, etc. for qualification events is just not really fair or accurate.
