Just over two weeks ago another epic Liquibet season came to a close. After the addition of the NASL and TSL3 to the pool of bets, the competition was sure to be as fierce and grueling as ever. Kicking off in March with the start of the TSL3 and concluding in mid-June with the GSL Super Tournament Grand Finals, the season spanned 420 different bets and over 500 possible points.
In the end it would be Almisael who would run away with the prize, finishing a full 10 points ahead of the nearest challenger, Harem. Almisael would finish with 363 total points, grabbing over 68% of the possible points. How did he pull it off? While he didn't excel in GSL betting, he took first in NASL betting and placed with a top-5 finish in TSL3 betting.

Damn that is impressive, I hovered around 60% correct all season.
But my TSL3 bets got f-ed over by Thorzain. Not that it wasn't completely awesome seeing him beat the best players in the world.

Sorry, forgot to include a link to last season in the OP. Its there now. You can visit previous seasons of liquibet by going to http://www.teamliquid.net/liquibet2_3/index.php and substituting 1/2/3 in where the 3 is in that url for the various seasons.

This season is off to a bad start already. JUST got back to above 50% voting percentage last night. Then again, last season started poorly for me, too. I got almost every single TSL Liquibet wrong until the quarters/semis.

I was ahead of Harem by a point for so long... then I got 1 eight-point bet wrong and it was all downhill from there... Didn't even finish in the top 10
edit: Huh... had I gotten that 1 bet right, I would have been in third overall. Ouch.
re-edit: Congrats guys. Was a fun fight for second place the whole time Very well done by Almisael in particular.

for a long time i feared donaldlee would take away my liquibet-points (*tasteless voice*) but suddenly he disappeared and gave me some breathing room. now i need a break from watching replays...

how long do the votes stay 'open' for. Im on tl pretty much every day and i always notice when theres one there to be done
anyway, thats a nice record you got tere Almisael. JJH777 getting 30/31 GSL world championship finishers pretty sweet too
how much work do you put into getting these bets right? i thought it was just guess work or which player you liked :D

Those categories are for the people who did the best liquibetting on those tourneys, not the best playing in them.

so ppl bet for like a few months(a season), not seeing their stats or other people stats. what a terrible system imo if u cant ever see any stats, I wonder who even bets there

PoltPrime screwed me
Voting for him against Alicia leapfrogged me up to 3rd overall, but voting against him twice cost me 12 points. I didn't have faith in his TvT.

I had fun going back to season 1 of sc2 liquibets and looking through the comments on the votes and how many voted on who.
The way MKP and Kyrix rised along with Nestea who "upset" the wind 
Like a lot other i struggle a lot with this seasons votes as i'm suddenly at 4-50% corect votes while i have been at above 60 and closer to 70 most of the other seasons.

For SC2 I pick whoever is the first in the checkboxes lol even when I know that the other player will win because there is still an odd chance they will lose.
