...... MeatyOwlLegs.....?
Meaty owl legs.... What a name!
Very good write up. I have to admit that I'm very new to the competative SC scene, so I haven't heard of this player. This write-up really makes me like him. Lord knows, I like to BM a little bit when I've fired myself up! Just keep doing what you're doing. Really pleased to hear another good long-macro player is out and about. Its a sign of the times, and I think that SC2 is finally evolving into the next stage where macro is the more popular style.

Holy crap he's top of the world ladder. and an 80% win rate is crazy. He sounds so sincere when he said he wanted to change his attitude, and hes adapted such a great style. I hope he does well in TSL, because im his newest fan

congrats naniwa, really nice job yesterday
|
You deserve it Naniwa, now win TSL and then go to GSL and prove all the haters wrong!

Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Nani! Great interview, good job! Thanks for the wonderfull writeup, this tour sure as hell will be awesome!
|
I think he deserves a shot in korea. Due to the language barrier he can't bm the koreans so easily :D
|
He has changed his attitude drastically, we are going to see beastly play by Naniwa.

Wow, Nani should go to Korea right now. The window is now, he's at the top now. I say go there while you have momentum and build upon your amazing talent with a Korean practice regimen and talent pool for practice partners.

Same here. Wasn't a fan but am definitely warming up to him.

Glad to see that he's trying to move away from his old BM attitude, he's been improving as a player since his eps/mym incident. I'm happy for him.
|
Man, I used to think that Nani was just some other BM kid out there. But after reading this interview, I really think he has made a change for the better :D.
GL in the TSL, and I hope that one day you make it Korea!

Congratulations Naniwa. You played very well, also 2 europeans in top 2, in TLOpen US. He had a really nice run in HomeCup also, but White-Ra has a really good pvp. Anyhow you are one of the best in EURO and like i said in other topic, for the next Code A tournament you should receive a spot in the 4 foreigners.

I actually like his playstyle now.

Yay, grats to Nani ! Awesome player, and i also liked his insight while co-casting some smaller tourneys (which really surprised me as i saw it the first time, but Nani commentating on protoss games is just really great because you get a really good insight into timings/generell strats... and during his commentaries you could really get a glimpse of his great game understanding).

The longer he waits the harder it will get. I'd really like to see him in Korea, better sooner than later

Indeed. I wonder if Empire has the funds to send him there though? And if he wants to himself? I do believe that the new gom thingy with a foreigner practice house would suit him perfectly though. Hope he can keep back the BM though, as it'd probably be even less appreciated among koreans ^^
