You have to face them sometime if you want to be the best. The TSL is about the best playing against the best for the most entertaining games. Frankly, this could be the most exciting SC2 tournament yet in terms of the amount of top talent from around the world. umm because their getting their spots handed to them and we have to earn ours?

One thing I am wondering is that are the Teamspeak TL Opens they are talking about the ones that have been already running?

Also will there be alot more reserved spots for pro players since alot will try to sign up now for sure? -The point system where top 8 non-winner with the most point fixes this issue. If someone does well enough consitantly throughout the TL opens then that person deserves it. -Reserve spots? There shouldn't be anymore reserve spots besides the korean invites and the seeded players. We need a tournament where the best players in the world are participiating and the opens will determine that. So I dont see any reason to have anymore reserve spots.

I was hoping that wouldn't be the case. I really think players who can qualify should have to go through the process like everyone else considering they all have EU, NA accounts as well and speak English. :/

It seems like a huge number of spots being given away to Koreans if the 13 doesn't include TLAF, Idra etc. But on the flip side it's kind of unfair that they don't have to navigate these tournaments with bo1 rounds full of alliners etc. I am having a hard time deciding how I personally would want it handled. I mean ideally it's qualifiers for every region, or something ladder related with the reset coming

I can see the argument but I cannot see a way around it when those 3 players have huge fanbases, are extremely skilled, and do not have the means to play without (at points crippling) lag.

I also believe that 8 spots for Asians would be good enough.

And I agree it pretty retarded that the Koreans get their spots like that. Its not even funny how racist that is, imagine giving Brazil and Argentina a spot in the Football World Cup, while no other South American nations can compete, and while the rest of the world has to earn their spot. Logistics or not, its retarded.
