That's true, we'll fix this in the next newspost.

Sounds like a pretty exciting round.

Now, it may sound controversial to you, but I think it's a good thing to have a player like BitByBit in the GSL. Why? Well, aside from giving us a villain ("ooh, curse that cheesing Terran!") it shows how far cheese can -- and can't -- go in this game, forces really good players like FD to play a slightly different kind of game, and finally, it televises to us how to fend off cheese at the highest levels. I agree with the summary, that it's bad for the game if someone like B3 makes it all the way to the finals, but making it to the Ro16 before being eliminated by a truly all-star player is perfect for the tourney.

Lol at the BBB F rating.

Great writeups as usual, way easier than catching the stream at work.

the guy was playing fruitdealer. you know that guy, former gsl winner?

im sure this b3 guy knew he couldnt beat fruitdealer in a straight up game so why should he concede by trying to?

im sure he practiced his cheeses specifically for fruitdealers builds.

if you were playing fruitdealer, what would you think your only chance of winning is? the guy went for what was calculated by him, the best chance for him to win... which was trying to cheese one of the best players in the world.

you guys are crazy for saying hes an embarassment for sc2. it's a strategy game and he did was he thought was the best chance for him to win. theres more than 1 way to play this game, to be honest theres no rules on how you can play it.

lol? You do know that in every single game he played int he GSL (all tvz's I think too) he all ind every single game and did some cheesy build every single game? He is bad for starcraft 2 if he can only all in/cheese every game do you really want to see him go far?
When I think of something else, something will go here

Pity you had to mess up an otherwise excellent recap by bashing on players whose style you didn't agree with. Then you're bringing up 'integrity' as well, I mean really? With words like 'horrible', 'abysmal', 'garbage' and 'infect', not to mention 'justice', it sounds like you're writing some propaganda speech. Cut the overwhelming vendetta/ bias.

Fruitdealer vs B3 was instructive from the zerg perspective on how to crush telegraphed all-ins from Terran.

I think we all agree that BitbyBitPrime is an AWFUL player, in that, if I may quote the player grade "He is cynically one-dimensional, with substandard mechanics, and abysmal game sense." which is completely true. However, For Hayder and NewDawn (the two players he beat) it should be eye opening, because you WILL run into a player once in a while doing that, and if you lose to the same type of all-in twice in a row from the same player, then obviously another more 'standard' player can whip out that strategy and destroy you. It sort of just shows a major hole in their play.

Kinda sad that the best ZvT games in a while are unwatchable (without pay). Instead we get game 1 (kinda dull) of Nestea vs Maka, instead of game 2 and 3, which from reading, sound nergasmically good. Maybe in the distant future they'll release these seasons for free.

I'm Highly dissapointed that you gave BBBP a F on the score scale.

He clearly outpreformed most other players throughout the tournament and gave it his best shot vs one of the best Zergs in the world and you couldnt appreciate that?

Thank you for this writeup, now i understand that it isnt worth reading your opinions.

By your logic Fruitdealer deserves an F as a player as he goes 6pool in GSL. But no, it's only cheese if Terran or Protoss does it haha.
I will random you

He wasn't grading his entire GSL performance he was grading his performance against FD. He got destroyed both games, and did basically the same all-in both games both failed miserably what grade would you give him?
