You can say "the series was not interesting" but why are you calling players(which are probably better than the one who wrote that) bad? If cheese gets you to round of 16, blame Blizzard not the players. I would cheese to glory to if It gets me that far It actually is our business if we feel they are cheesy or played badly, as we're a website that writes about progaming. In fact, I'd say it's exactly our business. I do not believe you must be better than the player to criticize him or her. Do you think that every sports writer who said X or Y football or basketball player played poorly is better at the sport? It makes no sense to discredit a writer or journalist because he is worse at the game than the professional player. Are you saying every single writer who has ever written about sports shouldn't be saying anything? Our newposts are part editorial. We have never maintained that they are neutral summaries of the games. You can watch the VOD for that (or turn the sound off if you feel the commentators are too biased). We feel it adds to the readability and entertainment value of the newspost, otherwise it'd be very boring for the writer and reader.

1. BitByBitPrime's total 'strategy' consists of all-ins and is therefore a terrible player. It takes a BIT more skill to play a macro game than to all-in. No pun intended. Just be honest. Completely honest. None of that "I want to seem like I'm not biased or anything" bs. If one player only demonstrated all-ins, and another player demonstrated the capability to play an macro game with army management, composition, etc, WHICH PLAYER WOULD YOU ASSUME IS BETTER? yeah, sure, maybe that all-in player has the same amount of skill, or more. But really... 2. FruitDealer 6 pooled ONCE to progress in the GSL. Whereas BitByBit has used it multiple times and it's obvious he relies on those strategies to win. On the other hand FruitDealer has proved that he actually uses all-ins as 'strategy' by mixing it in with other game plans. Maybe you can call a one-trick-pony a strategy user, but BitByBit almost implies that he CAN'T win without using all-in strategies. 3. BitByBitPrime and players like him are bad for SC2 as an esport. you can't even argue that. If the game of SC1 developed in that direction, with every zerg 4 pooling, every toss cannon rushing, and every terran bunker+mass scv rushing, the game would have never gotten its reputation as one of the greatest RTS games to date. Thank goodness it didn't, or else there never would've been that epic PLAGUHHH video... 4. TeamLiquid is completely entitled to give player grades. (To ExoD in particular: John Madden vs any NFL linebacker. GG. but, oh, no he can't pass judgement on a player because he's worse at football? You don't have to be better than a player to know that he's doing something wrong.) It's like saying you can't ever tell someone he/she is wrong because no one is perfect. Do you realize how effed up our world would be if people followed that?
