And I'm so glad there was a reference to my review I think in this section: "You know a great example I love reading on Teamliquid and elsewhere were not so much that you guys were missing clicks – some people said that and I didn't agree with that – but that we were missing the difference between a macro player and a micro player. That we were destroying the sense of style of the player. I could be playing a micro game and you could be playing a macro game with both the same race, and we are still playing a very different game from one another. Browder has gotten a lot of flack over the last year or so, but from everything I've read, he seems like he has a very deep knowledge of what he's doing in terms of his goals, expectations, and how he runs things, although I must say, he seems to have a lot of elongated "I don't know" type answers. I guess that's mostly because of how Blizzards games tend to be more of an "evolution" than a "creation," if that makes any sense. If you get another Interview with him before the release of the game, I would really like to hear about B.net 2.0, specifically about it's matchmaking and reanking systems, something that Blizzard has sort of failed at in it's RTS games. | ||
