I believe that this was because they didn't want Ver to get in rather than to make me look suspicious/keep Caller out. I know that won't be everyone elses inclination, though. ~~~~~~~~ Clues: First, note that I don't know which of the mafia that have died are connected to which of the names off-hand. I'll try to figure that out later, as two of the Yamaguchi-guri went unnamed tonight. For now, *** will indicate a possibly deceased mafia. The Yamaguchi-gumi Family: Sephiroth + Show Spoiler + Day 1: - Calm and collected. - Obviously the leader through his interactions with Cloud, Squall and Anti. Day 2: - "As the wax hardens" is a rather peculiar phrase. - It seems that Bockit is frozen. Perhaps made into a wax statue? - Still contend that he is the leader of the Yamaguchi-guri. "belongs to none other" and his plotting for the next night signify this. Cloud *** + Show Spoiler + - Observant, curious, or simply confused. Note how he scans every face as he comes in and that every line of dialogue he's involved in but the first is a question. Zach *** + Show Spoiler + - Nothing subtle I can discern. Should look for future references clarifying his expertise in killing, as well as a pattern of food consuming and/or further relations with Serge. Rourk + Show Spoiler + Day 1: - Intelligent person, unless the "sharp person" was a more subtle (or more obvious, depending on how you look at it) reference to something else. - Young and/or possibly irresponsible/immature. Day 2: - Still a drunkard. - Ms. Vetra is a character in Angels & Demons, a book by Dan Brown about the Illuminati/destruction of the Vatican City using antimatter. Zidane *** + Show Spoiler + - "Even after all these years none of them are sure what he isn't capable of." The wording seems to suggest that, rather than be mysterious or ambigious, Zidane may have a rather eclectic personality/range of talents. - Perhaps a former mafia player on the site, though I feel this would be too obvious. Should also keep in mind a distinct lineage or someone who fits a specifically strong family tie. Anti *** + Show Spoiler + - Possibly something hard to physically make out, as Cloud doesn't know what to think of Anti when he first sees him. - Seems to be trusted or possibly a protector of Sephiroth, as seem by Anti sitting directly across from him/Sephiroth having Anti open the letter. Roll + Show Spoiler + Day 1: - The only mention of Roll at all is that he is parking something. Perhaps this is too strong of a reference for Ace to fully flesh out any more at the moment. - Should keep an eye out for a possible pattern of Roll not showing up directly in the coming Day posts. Day 2: - Definitely a connection to automobiles. - Metallic voice; maybe he is the automobile? Squall *** + Show Spoiler + - I don't really see anything of note here. Perhaps his explosive entrance/informative approach. Santa *** + Show Spoiler + - His urgency about getting out of the area can signify many things. Too broad to interpret. - May be insensitive to others, though I have a feeling his comment to Serge was more of a clue to Serge than Santa. Serge + Show Spoiler + Day 1: - Possibly indecisive, weak-willed, or unfalteringly loyal. This is indicated by his wish to remain in position and wait for the coming back-up. - His uncertain urination may possibly be further reference to the first two traits listed above or may be a set-up for Santa's comment. - He may be a she or, more likely, an it. If Santa's comment was a clue to Serge, it may be a reference to Serge being some sort of object without gender. Day 2: - Perhaps he can spit acid or something? He eats something extremely hard while at the same time XCetron is being burned by acid. The Lucchese Family: Reign + Show Spoiler + Day 1: - Possibly confrontational and/or commanding. - The device on his head should be noted, though it doesn't immediately signify anything to me. Day 2: - "hops through the projector"? What? - Weird, round, see-through looking object is clear enough. Look for connections to. Ryu + Show Spoiler + Day 1: - Doesn't speak. Not indicative of an inability to, but should be noted in case a pattern emerges. - "As Ryu opens his mouth to start an explosion shakes the room!" I am confused about what Ryu is about to start, here. If this sort of description becomes a pattern, it'd be worth it to try to decipher it's meaning. Day 2: - Possibly can fly, though it doesn't explain why he would hit his head. - Came in and attacked through a window on both days. - Giant fireball is the method of death, which may be what "As Ryu opens his mouth to start" was referring to. Link + Show Spoiler + Day 1: - Confident/cocky. - Probably a subset of the above, but he seems a bit reckless, as seen by his interruption of his fellows actions. Perhaps he has a need to prove himself. Day 2: - Everything is exciting! I honestly don't know what else to make of this without looking through profiles. Smith + Show Spoiler + Day 1: - Succinct. Day 2: - Day 1 he ran through a doorway to inform people of things. Day 2 he closes/locks another door, and then tells Link where he'll be using doors. So, obvious connection to those. - Is perhaps connected to a number that is above, but close to 48. Rex + Show Spoiler + Day 1: - Seems to be the Lucchese leader. - He's commanding remotely thus far. Day 2: - He's a lizard of some kind who can bite a persons chest off. That...Seems pretty straight-forward. Nelson + Show Spoiler + Day 1: - I don't notice anything other than that, in every line but his last, he curses at least once. - Applesauce? Day 2: - Wants things to be clean. This is noted in Day 1 by being upset with Ebb for drooling all over his seats. - Handsome. Perhaps well-dressed, in connection with his want to be neat and the ladies attraction to him. Ebb + Show Spoiler + Day 1: - Notice how Nelson says Ebb "acts immature". I think this may mean that Ebb isn't actually as stupid as he seems, just simply inane/childish in his nature. - Also notice how Nelson and Ebb look at eachother after BB takes the laptop away and "decide it's time to get serious." Day 2: - This "Thinking to himself how it's odd she would have one of these in the latter part of the year," is the probable key to finding out who Ebb is. - Ebb drools a lot. - Ebb is short. Indicated several times as seen in bolded portions: he feels a gnawing sensation in his leg and drops to the floor. The drooling Ebb stands there, shedding light on to the mystery of exactly why Versatile had that in her pocket. Mynock attemps to stab Ebb, only to hit get his sword stuck in the little wooden container Ebb is carrying. - I'm not sure if it's related to Ebb or otherwise, but Mynock's memento stands out. BB + Show Spoiler + Day 1: - Impatient around silly or generally abrasive behavior. Short fuse. - Potentially somebody to be feared, as Nelson and Ebb change their attitudes when threatened by BB. Day 2: - Is a big person. - Is very strong and likes to cause pain. Myr + Show Spoiler + Day 1: - Seems to be a planning/organizing force. Suggested by the checking on the other members as they get into the van, Nelson's plea against watching Ebb, and the assertive nature about meeting up with/for Rex. Day 2: - Use of a big spear. May or may not be a clue. - Very little info is given, but what is seems big. It looks like whoever this was, they were in contact with the DT. Which, botheringly, implicates Caller. - "my prey" is really the only possible remaining clue. Possibly a hunter of some sort. Cookie + Show Spoiler + Day 1: - Only mentioned by Myr looking at him, then responding to nothing spoken aloud. Perhaps Cookie communicates through a different means than by normal sound. Day 2: - Definitely some sort of psychic link. He talked to Myr without actually speaking on Day 1, and now he made Amber kill himself. - Either a connection to irony or to someone connected to being helped by town while being mafia. Now I'll start going through profiles to find links. | ||

LaXerCannon as Roll: + Show Spoiler + Reasoning: Roll obviously has a strong connection to vehicles, and I believe he himself is in fact one. LaXer's profile picture is that of an SUV, which, other than lakrismamma having a profile quote asking to ride in someone's BMW, is the only person with a car connection I can find. Seeing as how I think Roll is a car, this more strongly points towards LaXer than Roll to me. Qatol as Rex: + Show Spoiler + Reasoning: According to this, Qatol was a general of a race of serpent-like beings called the Naga. These beings had the ability to see into the future to outmaneuver their enemies. In the first day, Rex has Smith withdrawl the forces of Link, Reign, and Ryu. In Day 2, Rex is shown to be giant and scaly-looking. I can't really find anything else that seems strong. I think Ace may be basing his clues on a wider net of things than I am searching for, unless I'm just blind. | ||

Joxxor as Nelson Joxxor sounds awfully like "Jock," which generally implies athletic and possibly attractive/handsome? Anyways his profile is a computer command for "You Fail," which could be linked to his taunting of randombum's killing (mockingly clapping his hands) Also MTF, you could very well be that Rex guy. You did run for mayor after all, hinting Godfather/Traitor as a possibility, and you have that blue turtle with its mouth wide open. That could be the source of the scaly biting person. JeeJee could very well be BB, they both rhyme and sound the same, and also BB takes pleasure, just as JeeJee has tears of joy to see tears of pain in his profile. MidnightGladius has the spear in his profile, Mandalor could also be Myr as he has the spear in his profile. | ||

The explanation of his name alongside the pleasure in pain quote looks good. Rex is supposed to be giant (and I know I'm not red, so there's that, too), Joxxor has no immediate connection to cleanliness, which I think is Nelson's leading clue, and MidnightGladius/Mandalor aren't connected by anything other than the spear. Though to be fair about the last portion, Mandalor has some strained hunter connection through Star Wars apparently. | ||
