So, when is it time to say "HAHAHA, we got our Godfather into the office!"
?

So, when is someone gonna tell us random green townies who haven't been allowed into the inner circles exactly what happened?

I would have to agree with him =\, this game would have been fun as greens if people were doing more analysis publically, but as no one is, its lame, most casual players will only contribute if they see discussion going they can join in on. And knowing that well, 20 people are mafia, and then like another 22 are role holders, that makes the majority of the players someone with a role, and as caller was nice to mention this game, his belief is the role of greens is to sacrifice themselves for the blues to live and save the town. As such playing as a townie this game is lame as caller will just toss you under a bus, as they did with me day 1 lynch, also, thanks ver on being so sure i was mafia without any facts behind it, i so appreciate that =\ Aside from being on a "high suspect" list, where everyone has flipped townie pretty well, I'd reaccess your ability of recognition.

yea lol, how the fuck did that happen? seriously, all of a sudden, people voted for MTF. MAFIA SCUM.

I voted for MTF too.
I kept trying to convince Caller that MTF was mafia, and he wasn't going along with it. Maybe he actually did rolecheck MTF and he turned up green, heh.

well this was my first time being not mafia. of course being a mafia is hella fun, but this was new for me and i enjoyed the experience from the eyes of a green. when i was red and trying to pose as green i wasn't very good at it, constantly thinking, "what would a green townie say? uhhh....".
i was only some-what in the inner circle, but i still tried to post publically and be helpful. Caller's view is somewhat right though: green townies can be very helpful by absorbing blue hits. after all the goal of the game isn't to live the longest, it's to kill the other side. of course being a blue is more interesting, but just take what you get and have fun with it. there's always other mafia games in the future. and i'm not sure how to interpret your final sentence.

Honestly tho, I already told Ver, but want to say it here again: I wouldn't have made/said anything differently if I was a green townie. From the get-go I thought Caller was quite unsuited for the mayoral spot, as he completely disregards the interests of the average townie (those interests being for the game to be FUN, not to actually WIN as some might think). This whole hiding thing and bossing people around (aka Showtime!, and Caller's attitude ending most of his posts with a "lol" for the last 20 pages) only irritates the townies and makes them want to ignore the whole game completely.
It is for this reason I am announcing my candidacy for office in the next Mafia game, regardless of who's hosting it. My slogan will be somewhere along the lines of "Information to the people!"

If/when we're doing another game, can the mafia get a detective like role? Not as powerful as detectives, maybe only able to ask certain questions once or twice a game?
Questions to the other mafia. How early did you have the list and if you guys had it before the first day, why did you decide to go after the bodyguards? Changed your minds about going after MTF/Caller?

i guess everybodys like fuck it, game's over

goes to show you how much i've been paying attention. maybe that's because our capo was off'd so early

like the me bashing lol
okay so here's what happened:
originally i had a very intricate plan set up. it would require all the dts to cooperate where i would do a fake lynch of mtf (+ pardon) and then get two vote checks. But then I would lie about the votechecks (like if 10 mafia were on one i'd say there were 3, etc.) and hopefully get mafia to swing each other.
Unfortunately, not only did 15 or so people vote, but the dts had either rolechecked me (two of them lol), rolechecked some random person (Kweezy I thought was actually a capo as he/she reported to me that Versatile was vet immediately after night started) or really late (spetial was a day late lol)
So that was that plan.
Then i'm guessing that the role list was given to scum somehow (mtf's group) and that then mtf leaked it by accident to mrbabyhands, as far as I hear. I like how the bg was left alive though, although i told nobody about the bgs.
To be fair I did not post much information to town. But then again, I didn't see much activity going on because as soon as someone posted they died lol.
Not to mention that after day 1 revealed a lot of dead mafia in the form of people i thought were active townies (esp. pyrrhoxlia) i decided to be cautious about that. Not to mention I suck at making clue interpretations.
And there was another reason for me being so mysterious: i had wanted to make myself look really weird by hiding info so that hopefully i could get lynched and by doing so have valuable information in that votecheck (namely, the first few people and the last few people most likely would be mafia). Not to mention that with the first day seemingly leak, it was weird.
The whole "cheating" situation wasn't really cheating. I made up the rumor to screw with people haha. What really happened was, person x persuaded mafia y that person x was from yamaguchi and mafia y in lucheese and therefore got mafia y to send the list via aim to person x who forwarded it to me randomly. the rumor that he broke into the other person's computer is completely wrong as they live many miles away lol.
The only people I was sending lists to were Ver, Showtime! at one point, the elders, and that was it. I was always suspicious of MTF as he tried to make himself look like a victim when I was suspicious.
And the Plexzombies... lol. I thought that was suspicious. Clearly, the people that I thought were suspicious were innocent, and vice versa. Like an insane DT.
More coming later as I finish my rant.

i think i had my list of the yam mafia sometime during Day 1.
i didnt really have much to go on as far as other blues tho (besides the body guards).
i think the initial plan was to confuse the town. to get them asking questions like "why would so many bgs die? could there be a leak? etc". It was to be a subtle play to make the town leaders even more suspicious of each other.
irc infiltration also allowed us to get an idea of who the other family would target on night 1 so we could avoid butting heads, thus maximizing overall mafia kill power.

Actually, I was 100% honest with you at all times about the roles I recieved. The only blue we killed intentionally this entire game was Nemy; didn't want to seem like we were avoiding hitting the bodyguards completely, and the numbers made it seem safe to assume that one could reasonably die. It was pretty unfortunate for us that Lucchese got a hold of the roles somehow and hit the other three that night.
Furthermore, there was no contact between the two families until after you sent me the Lucchese list, at least as far as I am aware.

Well, if that's true then it is certainly much less distasteful. Though, I'm wondering why the Lucchese still think the rumor is the truth, if one of them knows otherwise.

Wasn't much more I could do. :p I honestly did believe up until earlier today that you or one of the people you were sharing info with was aligned with the Lucchese, due to the Lucchese accuracy.
Something I have to ask: How did the town get the Yamaguchi roles? I know how the Lucchese did and I assumed I knew how the town got it due to the earlier rumor, but with that debunked by you, I'm left confused on the matter.

Meh, you must have known MTF was mafia. Think it would have been better to target DT's/Medics.
Personally, I didn't have much of a plan. I wanted to take out the "outsiders" (Ver, Versatile, Klassy, Double D, DABA) with Plexa and his voters first. Always thought taking them out would be best.
Somehow, that got sidetracked, but amazingly enough, most turned out to be Blue so I'm pleased about that
Anyway, our side was too "nice" and deliberately tried not to hit any mafia early on. We were the only side without a list

I just kind o think that mafia should be a guessing game and not about who can write the best scripts on irc.

The funny thing is some mafia players were "caught" accidentally in other parts of this thread and others.
If you look into BuGzlToOnl's thread, someone called him mafia. Interesting how that turns out.
Someone caught on to the crux of the APPLESAUCE clue ages ago but no one followed up on it. They said they haven't eaten the stuff since they were like 6 or something. Of course not because babies are usually fed applesauce.
