Only nine people were there, inside a Birdcage he already saw before. It was happening again. However, people didn't seem that desperate. Sometimes, suspicions were threwn here and there, but it didn't seem that a killing would take place shortly. After Lucca came to himself, he realized the dessert he has ordered disappeared. Completely forgetting someone would die that day, he screamed: "WHO STOLE IT? WAS IT YOU?" and pointed to the manager of the Hotel du Azoulay, Bamou. Bamou replied that he had no idea what he was talking about, but Lucca insisted: "you stole my dessert! Give it back! Give it back!". "Calm down, Lucca. Why don't you get to your room? How about you die first?". Bamou stayed in complete silence, even when the others were talking directly to him. Suspicions grew. "Why isn't he saying anything? Do you have anything to hide?" Silence. Then: "how about that Masked Woman over there? Why is no one being suspicious of her?" Suddenly, Lucca stormed into the room wearing shades: "I can see better now! His soul is red! He is possessed!". Fischer instantly moved towards Bamou, Lucca followed. Bamou picked up a knife and threaten to defend himself with it. The Masked Woman appeared behind him and hit him with a chair, that broke with the impact, Bamou falling on the ground. The Masked Woman continued to hit his head with the remains of the chair, until his skull crushed and blood covered his face. Bamou's skin started to become more and more red, his body convulsioned and, after a otherworldly scream came from his lungs, a scarlet ectoplasm grew from his eyes, nose and mouth, floated in the air, and disappeared. Lucca's dissert slowly slided from Bamou's pocket. Trfel has been lynched. Day 2 Although the situation was pretty much disturbing, most of them remained calm, especially Lucca, Fischer and Captain 3. "Who are you and how did you know?" asked Captain 3 to the Masked Woman. "I didn't. Somebody just had to die". Some of them asked that the Woman took her mask of, which she refused. A heated discussion started to take place, interrupted by a photography flash. It was Jean Rimbelaire, the french guy who was sitting at the cafeteria. "Delete this photo right now", said Captain 3. "Make me", said Jean. Captain stormed towards him. "Okay, okay! Jeez!", said Jean, deleting the photo. "Do you have any idea where you are and what's happening? More deaths will happen and you are worried about little things. We got one right, but there might be others, so let's rest for tonight and take a breath, because tomorrow someone else will die, too. And it could be any of us." A moment of silence. Lucca decided to go back to his room first, the sunglasses brightly reflecting the hotel's lights. The others went to their rooms below the cafeteria, remaining only the Masked Woman, Hassan and Captain 3. "Why don't you all go back to your rooms?" asked the permanently drunk Hassan. "I don't have a room and I guess she doesn't have one either", replied Captain 3. "Isn't this suspicious?" asked Hassan. "No?" replied the Masked Woman. "You all need to sleep tight. I'll stay awake and watch everyone's back for a while" concluded Captain 3. But to no avail. On the next morning, Lucca went to the cafeteria and found everyone staring at Captain's body on the ground, his chest wide open exposing his internal organs, blood everywhere. The Scarlet Menace has acted, and no one had any idea what might have happened. Time is ticking... Tictock was killed last night. While Lucca was busy with his food, discussion already started in the early morning "It's either the Masked Woman or the drunk guy", said Fischer. "Or both" said Méline. "Or none of us", replied the Masked Woman - "I sure didn't hear or see anything suspicious at night and, if I didn't, this guy didn't either. Come on, just look at him! He's so drunk. He wouldn't be able to do such a thing"> "Maybe that's what you want him to think?" said Carl. "Maybe you're the one who wants us to think that. What if he isn't the bad guy? Hassan has spilled Vodka over Jean's camera, completely damaging all of Jean's works. Jean felt so angry. He punched Hassan on the chest, but it seems that he wasn't so strong. Hassan picked a knife from his pocket and tried to stab Jean "no one messes with Hasan!". Jean could easily dodge Hassan's attacks due to his drunkness, but tripped over and fell. Hassan went to stab him, but Jean kicked him in the leg, breaking it, and Hassan fell too. Hassan tried to stab Jean on the leg, but missed, losing the knife with the impact on the ground. They both chase the kinfe but Jean was quicker, and in a quick move, Jean cutted Hassan's neck. His blood spilled on the ground until his eyes became lifeless. Jean was in shock. She managed to correctly guess one of the Scarlet Menace's corrupted soul in the beginning. She has promised to use her powers to the good and save humanity from corruption. Méline was surprised to find evil intentions on the Hotel she used to stay when traveling to Marrakesh - she often stays in there since part of her family created roots in the country. She wasn't expecting that the Scarlet Menace would dare to act so close to the Citadel. When she saw someone getting punched in the face and two others running from the cafeteria, she knew something was off. That's why she has set the Device on, creating the Birdcage. She had to save her city. She would still be doing that if she wasn't found dead on her room, his chest completely open and exposing the interiors, but no signs of her heart.
