Cake defending that read might be consistent with them being actually sincere about it (although I still disagree, you cannot really compare two entry posts when the other is a catch up post when game has been going on for pages and the other is one of the first posts of the game).
Cannot totally shake the feeling Copcakes townreads are slightly TMIsh, but having kinda cut read that Copcake/Zey are not W/W.

I think he was referring to the previous game when he rolled maf.
For context, usually Vivax goes afk quickly as mafia but in the last game he posted alot and played well throughout the game, thus scuppering the easy meta read on him people were using.

I'm considering mostly the copcake is just looking for the reactions to her post as a way of scumhunting rather than worrying about what people are thinking. She was a reaction based player in the last game we played together.
Because of this her too scummy to be scum argument actually makes sense.
I'm still open minded about a possible pocketing attempt, but i'm more inclined to see her opening as town copcake.

Dunno if I really need to elaborate but I still might :D People don't really expect you to watch them in the eyes and lie, and scum telling they are town is kinda using that presumption in their advantage. Town does not need to do that and I would say I have seen scum just casually claim town more than actual townies. But I guess it's still not aligment indicative per se.

He wants to look like he is being active and chasing scums or he is just too excited about game and want's to do something. I'm leaning more to the first one because he also just ignored Vivax's rolling mafia post what I would say more intresting post than rayn's hi. To me it seems like he is picking somethings up without any thinking whether answers and/or reactions even can give anything.
