Half the sky answered this correctly, but If I understand you correctly the better option would just be to cancle your action and say, "I'd rather not poison disformation, i'd like to poison X instead." This is because, for the vast majority of cases (if not all of them), a role that acts at night resolves at the end of the night cycle. So your action is never locked in until the deadline. | ||
