Disformation: Another filter I haven't reviewed. I remember thinking something might possibly be off about him. I want him to pick the Doctor ^ Wants to give a doc to someone he feels might be off. I would like for him to pick an investigative role, preferably Moriarty ^ Pointed out towards his (Palmar's) inconsistent reaction regarding this guy earlier, and he said he hasn't even reviewed him. Sicklucker is allowed to pick any role, including very mafia favored roles if he feels like it to check if they're in the game and to check if people above him followed the plan. He is also allowed to grab a KP role if he feels like it. A good suggestion for a role for him is the knight artorias thing which is a very strong mafia role. Our secret weapon, who picks 3rd last place. That's going to do super much. Have you really thought this through Palmar? I also love his introductory chapter, it's completely written from the perspective of "anyone trying to go against me is obviously scum", when that is certainly not true. The most unbelievable part is this sentence: "Mafia will disrupt my plans, not because they think that's good for their team, although of course it is, but mostly because they think "that's what a good townie would do"." No mafia or even townie believes that bull. There's no way in hell a single person in this game honestly believes that intentionally disrupting is pro-town, with the only exception being if you believe the one trying to assume the town leader position to be scum. I do mostly agree the part with post counts, except that you shouldn't expect the whole team to play similarly. With 4 mafia players for each of the teams, they're more than likely to fill out different playstyles/roles. As for what he's suggesting me to pick, I'll decide in the upcoming hours. I know he isn't getting me lynched anyway so I'm not concerned about that at all. Also surprised he's not suggesting anyone to counterpick Hero or PSY? I have to admit I like the idea of going dreamflower and just shooting mafia in succession. (Or failing and committing seppuku.) | ||

On first glance I think mass claim could potentially work, but the biggest downside if having public knowledge of the top tier investigative roles. For instance, mafia shoot someone like Holmes or House and then mess with the results of the remaining ones because they know who to target. From what I remember, there weren't a ton of redirect tools in the setup so it might not be a huge issue. The key to stopping this would be to throw a watcher on the high priority cops to ensure that mafia can't shoot or mess with them without being spotted and trading 1:1. | ||

I think the best strategy is for towns to get all the good protective/inv roles. That way we can let the mafia kill each other since they dont know who the other mafias are anyway. So i think vets/invg roles are best for town probably | ||

I didn't read them tbh. no, that's the point. if you think for example rels is mafia, you pick captain malcolm. if you actually GET captain malcolm, you KNOW rels didn't pick it, and thus he must have picked something else. It's irrelevant what he picked really, the important part is he refused to take a strong town role for some reason. | ||
