I'm curiuse though, are most people familiar with the Anime that aired a few years back (lasted about 40 episodes), the manga, or the more recent anime (called Brotherhood) that stays true to the manga? Just wondering, as I originally got hooked on the Anime series that aired here in the states on Adult Swim a few years ago, but the story in Brotherhood was pretty intereting. I'm basing the flavor on this based on the Anime (not Brotherhood) just in case there are fans of the manga here. | ||

If you have questions about the setup please feel free to ask. I would also like to note that I made a small change to the activity requirements for this game (actually it's been this way since I posted the OP, but I want to ensure people are aware). Activity: You must make at least Five posts in this thread per day/night cycle and vote every day while you are alive. Roughly speaking, this equates to a bare minimum of one post per 10 hours. If you fail to do so, you will be modkilled or replaced. The intent is to encourage an active game, not punish those with little time to spend on this game. Feel free to speak up if you think this is too harsh, but I am unlikely to change it. | ||

I think Brotherhood was a bit better, because they had more episodes to explain the crazy stuff happening towards the end. Though I liked Sloth a lot more in the original anime (sloth is traditionally my fav. of the seven sins and I wasn't a fan of that oaf in Brotherhood). Still can recommend both. And yeah I already had noticed that you went with the original one, by looking at the GF role. | ||

The Anime was really nice because it did a fantastic job of telling a complete story, which I feel is all to rare for TV shows these days (which have a tendency to drag on as long as there is money to be made). One of these days I should see if I can find a cheap version of the manga or find a download for it or summin and see how I feel about that, I have a feeling the Brotherhood series is unlikely to pick up anytime soon as it's been several years since it came out. | ||
