Back briefly before I go to bed.
I see Fidei was catching up as of an hour ago, and he posted in the other thread. He's never played as mafia, and I know he told me sometime back he would likely struggle with it if he rolled it. The longer he goes without posting makes me wonder if he's actually gone red this go.

Shining looks better based on his re-entry and LS's responses to me (particularly the reads) also make him look a little better.
There is one thing I noticed in his filter though. LS could you answer this?

If I'm going to be honest with you I really haven't read much if any of the game at this point besides where I posted yesterday just now I started rolling through filters of my favorite people.
I had an early town read on geript and Ryan though. Slight town read on eels though.
Anyway I'm like 95% sure that my bro shining is scrum he was the first filter I looked at. He is just so... emotionless to a point and he barely reacts to the thread to a point with pretty posts that seem to be structured.

Okay, I'm all caught up. First thing's first - I think I have played with most of you before, but the people I don't really know are Vivax, The Shining and DandelIon. I wouldn't say I know BM, geript or FF particularly well, though.
My thoughts on the game so far:
- Rayn's thread presence so far seems to be pretty standard for him. I've listened to him on voice play both sides, and when he's town he basically has this uncontrollable urge to solve the game just from the role setup alone. The way that he continued to batter at LS for his view on the martyr issue reminded me of town rayn in voice, which is basically "I'm right and if you don't understand then you're mafia". In my view he massively overreacted to LS's comments on the martyr (see his posts #100 and #115), but then he did basically the same in Newbie XIV on n00b and Bresh early on.
- I think Lightning Strike is town, and I think the early push on him was suspect. I don't know how any of you can be surprised that LS says stuff that doesn't add up early on. He's done that in every game I've seen him in, and he's also basically like that in voice. The way that he responded to Rels at his post #362 (basically "I'm not talking to you any more") felt very genuine, and exactly how I'd expect angsty town LS to respond.
- I think the person who comes out from the LS push looking the worst is TT. At his post #218 he basically says that LS is a "fine lynch", but his reasons are just re-hashes of what other people have posted earlier. He then takes it back at (#473) after others already had. I also think his town reads of Rayn, Rels and Vivax feel a little ... safe. I think thread sentiment is all pretty set on those three already, for pretty obvious reasons. When TT was mafia in HG he felt like he was always on the right side of every argument, and so far he reminds me of this.
- Dandel Ion has been trolly thus far. Seriously, don't sign up for a game if you aren't going to take it even vaguely seriously. That stuff really, really, really irks me. It's all so Onegu-esque that it's tough to get a read on. Worthy policy lynch.
- Damdred looks like he has been in other threads, but hasn't said anything since his thread entry, where he also sheeped the anti-LS sentiment (#121) but hasn't followed up at all. In my first game with Damdred, HG, he was town and he ran around all day like a man with his hair on fire, throwing accusations everywhere. In the last Gaiden he was mafia, and he basically just poked around all day, iirc (I obs'd that game).
- Bill Murray's thread entry felt very off to me - he posted a town-read on rayn without any justification at all, and then said he "usually has something important going on" (#113). His later interactions feel a lot more fluid though, and I really like his read on TT (his thoughts are basically the same thing that I think a lot of people had in HG).
- Rels looks towny insofar as his activity level goes, but he was also early on the LS 'wagon', although he didn't vote for it. I also don't like his TT read, and quite a lot of his activity seems responsive rather than pro-active, which is different from our last game together. Then again, that game (Personalities) was pretty weird and so IDK whether it's a reliable guide to someone's meta.
I don't have a good handle on geript, TS (whose thread entry got a lot of talk, but which seemed pretty NAI to me) and FF. HTS is playing the same as the last two games we played together (when she was town). Her reason to scum me look genuine enough (if wrong, lol), and her read evolutions on LS and BM look natural. I think she's probably a town read, but I'm pretty sure when she does roll scum she'll fool me.

I've played with shining in a total of probably 60-90 games total. We have played a lot together multiple places.
I know he hates playing early, but he can't hide emotional things as town he explodes at points or he gets super excited but it's missing here.
When he's scum he's structured and he's less train of thought and he shrinks his posts into huge posts.
Town he just comments as he catches up.
I just think it's his scum meta

Ok Im not convinced Damdred is mafia yet like if he was on The Voice I would be thinking about pressing the button but when other people did and they're looking at who is singing I would still be sitting there listening to him sing wondering if I should press it, if that makes any sense

Because of bias from my side more than him because how I was early about some of my stuff that is all. I know it doesn't sound much but that what it is really is for why I only got a could be town read on him.
